Yesterday was Sarah's birthday, she invited me to join her and her boyfriend at Olive Garden last night. They came over to my home after for awhile and Sarah dug photo albums out of my basement storage that I had put away with other childhood mementos that both her and her sister had accumulated at my home in Lincoln during the summer stays and school holidays.  Great memories for us. It was a lovely evening. 

We are finally getting some warmer temperatures here, I hope it stays. Boats are a bit more active on my little lake and it is fun seeing the action.

Thank you for posting this information on special June dates.  I often go outside after dark to view the night sky.  I love watching the moon, stars and planets.  It gives me a sense of awe and peace.

Note:  I am still having problems with forum posts.  It keeps telling me to sign in, and I am already signed in.  Meanwhile it takes me to the shopping channel so I have to click on forum topics, and wait and wait ......

      @AnikaBrodie   Thank you for the words to  "Taps ".

  everyone: When my husband was stationed at Fr McPherson, Ga , near Atlanta we lived off post in a nearby neighborhood, at night lying in bed we could hear "taps" playing from the post. The prelude to a restful sleep.
