     The duck with the umbrella is me in the wonderful rain! It's washing pollen from the air. 

Its 69 now and only a high of 70. The house has cooled down to 72. Windows open in kitchen for circulation. 
       It's cool enough to do laundry. I'm behind due to it heating up the house. The laundry/dog/bathroom is off the den and  I don't have screens on those windows. I never needed them until I have no AC.

       Last night my son brought Terriyaki Madness . Rice, chicken, zucchini, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, in a bowl. We got smaller ones due to the heat and I made corn on the cob in the microwave and cucumbers in vinegar with ice on top. No heating the 80 degree inside house up! 
        We watched recorded "Evil" my son's choice. The dogs were good except Snickers didn't want Tony to get on my son So, Tony got in her bed and she glared at him.

She didn't want him there either.

         We had a short triangle walk early when rain stopped a bit.  My next door neighbor was walking her Bernedoodle, Greta and another medium sized doodle of a friend's . Snickers likes Doodles usually unless they are threatening. 
         I have a physical appointment at 2 today near my son's store I hope it's not thunderstorms then but will close windows.

@1Snickers , I always enjoy hearing from you, and Snickers. Yay! for your rain. We had 2.5 inches of heavenly rain, and wet snow all day Saturday. Our dry land drank it up. 

Will you have AC soon? We were without air conditioning last summer in August and September.  My DH put a window unit though in our dining room window, which of course helped a lot . Those are our over 100 hotest months. 

Your dinner bowl sounds good. Our Pei Wei closed recently, and Brian misses it. He would order the honey seared chicken, with extra red peppers, and white rice. I took him there often to pick his dinner up. We will find a replacement here somewhere. Pei Wei was convenient for us.

@Sweet Caroline 1 , Happy Monday to you too. I will pray along side you for all those in the horrible weather conditions. I can't imagine how much trauma this would cause people. 

You will know when you find the right people to clean your roof and gutter. I know what you mean about having bad vibes. 

Good for you staying home, and doing the things you wanted to do. Sometimes you just need to do for yourself, and not others. Stay strong.

Good morning @Sassy7356 . I will be praying for you, as you go through medical testing today. Acid reflux causes swallowing difficulties for me, and it can be miserable.  I hope they can find what causes yours. 

No more rain or snow here for us, but we are very thankful for what we got. Our temps should be warm now for a long while.

@Sassy7356  @Tissyanne  In my forties, one Christmas I had the most horrible acid reflux, lost ten pounds, and finally had the test wherein a camera is inserted into the stomach, turned out I had a hiatal hernia, took prescription antacid pills for a while, then stopped. It left years ago on it's own, maybe the hole closed, as have had no symptoms, but I remember the feeling and it leads one into an almost desperate state of mind.

@mousiegirl , I know what you mean. I have had three endoscopy procedures in my life. They always tell me I have a small hiatal hernia.  I take prescription PPI each morning.  Without it I can't swallow.
