@meallen616 Have eaten this my entire life, sourdough bread, and DD teethed on it, she never had an issue when teething, the bread also held the drools so no mess, lol.

Coconut Delight - I hate the taste, smell, texture - anything to do with coconut.
@Sassy7356, What I do is take a bite of each one and if I don't like it I put it back in the box
@Sweet Caroline 1 Every Christmas, a client of my Mother's gave her a box of See's mixed candy, she brought it home, and being a child, I took a ****** out of all until I found what I liked. She said she never picked up a piece of candy without a mouse nibble in it.
I only buy customized boxes now for me and DD, that way all is eaten and enjoyed with no nips.

Today is Gracie's 12th birthday. It will be full of extra treats, toys, and lots of love. This photo is from the day we brought her home weighing only 1 pound, 6 ounces. She fit in the palm of my hand. Now, she weighs 11 pounds, 8 ounces. Love this little pup so much. She is my side-kick.
@Sassy7356 She is the color here of my girl but her fur is much lighter now from the pictures I see. I always think of puppies and kittens as just like human babies, adorable, helpless, and totally dependant.
Happy Birthday, adorable Gracie.

Happy April! Good morning everyone! I hope this new month is full of Happy Blessings for everyone! We have sunshine today after having storms moving through yesterday on monday. It was supose to be rough but my area got a good old thunderstorm and thats all. Nothing scary.
I have more phone calls to make today. I try to keep them in my memory but when it gets after hours, thats when I remember that I need to make calls. One is, AT&T, they text me that it's time for my auto payment and list the amount. But the amount that they zap from my bank account is more than that. I'll call them first. Then I want to talk to the tree people again.
Early this morning I just wanted to eat something so I had some peanuts and they laid way too rich in my tummy and it took a while to get past it. I feel better now. I try to have healthy snacks, peanuts are the best priced nut but it will be a while before I buy peanuts again.
Thats all of my news for now. I wish all of you a wonderful and Blessed day! Love ya!
@Sweet Caroline 1 Many days, the first I eat are peanuts, but that is after two cups of tea. Have you tried oatmeal with a little honey? Very soothing and warming, and good for lowering blood glucose, but it has to be eaten often for this. I make a batch every week for DH and I to eat, and thin mine with some water before microwaving it, then dribble honey over it, takes care of a sweet craving also, the honey, only needs a bit.
I had eaten quite a bit of honey on Saturday, and yet my glucose reading was 80 on Sunday.

Everyone, my eye appointment went well this afternoon. They dilated my eyes again to take a look at the large floater. He let me see it on the screen. He is a retina specialist, and they are making sure my eyes are healthy. The floater does bother me. He told me there are eye specialists who remove floaters, but he doesn't recommend surgery for me.
The wind and dirt are awful today. I picked Brian up after I finished my appointment, and we bought groceries. I see the internal medicine doctor Thursday. I am anxious about the appointment.
@mousiegirl , your warm oatmeal with a drizzle of honey sounds delicious. I would add a few walnuts on top.

@hullie , I am concerned that we haven't heard from you in several days. I sure hope you are okay. Please let us know.

@Tissyanne I am glad your eye appointment went well.
I have had floaters for quite a while, now they are tiny and run all around, find myself swatting at them thinking they are bugs, and once, it was a tiny spider that was running around on the wall, eeew, lol, so stopped swatting. Maybe when the cataracts are removed, they will go also.
