I did a bit of qvc shopping the last few days. When they had a an uxpected free shipping notification I noticed it in time and shopped to pick up my spirits which I sorely need sitting in my recliner helpless. I found a couple bohemian looking tops that had been significantly marked down in the LOGO lavish line, I guess I am a hippie at heart in style anyway. Today I ordered with a $20 off springtime promo 40 large Authentic Gourmet croissants. They are outrageously expensive but equally outrageously delicious. They keep in the freezer and are easy to pop and bake whenever I want a taste of France. I had ordered some salmon filets a couple weeks earlier. Do you guys have some good experiences with their food line?

I am older so my best friends have passed. Just so sad. I do have great sister in laws which is a blessing.

@hullie I always had the battered cod filets, pork ribeyes and potstickers on auto delivery, will begin again once I have a freezer. I bought many of the two pies per order around the holidays, David's I believe, and they were very good. For the most part, all I have ordered has been good, but aside from what I have mentioned, it is all expensive so stick to what I cannot buy at my grocery store or costco.

Beautiful weather today.

Last evening, after dinner, when I got up, I had no balance. I had to hang onto the walls to get to my cane and it lasted for hours, better this morning, but am still using the cane. Has anyone experienced this? It is very scary, and DH says it happens frequently to him which I didnt know, but do know his balance in general is poor.

I thought it had something to do with eating so googled, and this is what I found.

eating too much and too fast can cause a drop in blood pressure (postprandial hypotension) which can lead to dizziness or lightheadedness after eating.

AGE, a curse in that what is next is always in my mind, but as George Burns used to say, "considering the alternative....," lol.

@hullie We have bought the potstickers and loved them. Plus, we received as a gift two years in a row the Landies Candies Stuffed Pretzels and they were also very good. My daughter has bought the individual coffee cakes and I know she also buys crab cakes from QVC.

@mousiegirl Lately, every time I stand up I am grabbing for something. My rollator is getting a good workout. The other day I left it outside the bathroom, became very dizzy, fell on my knees and my head lunged into the wall. I now use a shower chair as I can't stand as long as it takes me to get done. I do have very low blood pressure which can be the culprit.

@hullie , we have the Family Farms bacon wrapped cordon bleu chicken breast on auto delivery. All 3 of us really enjoy them.

I bought the salmon TSV recently, and we will try it this week.

We like the Cheryls cookies at holiday. They,are wrapped separately, and freezer friendly.

I like those bohemian tops too. I am hippie also.

@Sassy7356 How awful that you fell on your knees, and your poor head. I know what both feel like, scary and painful. I have been using a chair since the slide down the stairs, usually use it when I exfoliate my face, and for security.

I think you are right about low blood pressure being the culprit, and I believe that is what happened to me. I do eat too fast, learned that as a child, a terrible habit, but I think last evening I did eat too much without realizing it until the balance issue, then rethought everythig.

I took my cane to the DMV because I am afraid that if someone bumped into me, I would lose my balance.

Hopefully, your knees weren't injured. I went to bed last evening thinking that whatever caused it would pass after twelve hours of bed rest. I go to bed and don't sleep for most of the night, then sleep in the morning, terrible pattern.
