I use my 'glove box' for storing receipts (clothing, shoes only).

I mark each receipt at the top with the date and what the item is.

That way I always know where to find my receipt whenever I return a clothing item.

I no longer use dressing rooms......I just look at the fashion item and take a chance.

Wearing shoes around the house sometimes prompts me to return them if they 'aren't right' on my feet.

All in all, I've had good luck.  Not many returns or exchanges so far.

I have a measuring tape and measure the rise on pants in stores.  Always looking for high-rise pants.

Anyway, it's so easy to spot the item on my receipt(s) ........ nice and safe in my glove box!

p.s.  My Subaru glove box is fairly medium- large, but I always wish that it were even larger.

I store my sunglasses there, and, of course registration, band-aids, a couple of pens, and a tiny spiral notebook.

I use my console for most storage because it huge. But I am sure my glove compartment has gloves in it. Disposable vinyl and/or latex gloves. They're in my console, too. And my handbag. I use them for pumping gas or other *dirty* jobs.
