@Shanus  Have a great day Ms Shanus, we all deserve a day off, a day to ourselves and guilt-free too. I'm going out today too, just need to GET OUT for a while and forget the below zero temps many of us are expecting in the next 12-24hours.

I want to go to Marshall's and see what they have going of now. DH & I will go out together, maybe I can talk him into getting lost at Marshall's - they do sell men's wear now so he can go that direction while I hit the ladies' racks.

Picking up a few groceries too before the next round of extreme weather hits. Today is the day to do it, it's supposed to be mid 40s but rain they say.

Have fun today Ms Shanus and yes, stop at the store for a couple bottles of wine and enjoy them at home! Half a glass through lunch is okay, be safe driving home.

Great idea. Maybe next week : a spa treatment. My mother took her time after deciding to pass. My therapist, who knew my mother (she was the only mother who sent him a thank you note) told me to do anything that would keep me healthy. I saw a lot of movies; that's my thing.

I had a wonderful fun day out. I started at Ulta for a new hot styling brush...has turquoise, soft silicone bristles. Anxious to give it a try now that my layers are growing out. Next up the Hallmark store for my Valentine cards. I’m nothing if not organized. Then on to the mall. I checked out Sephora and purchased a few little sample size things at the checkout counter, smelled a lot of perfumes, purchased a new Tweezerman tweezers & a Fresh lip balm. At Nordstrom, I got the MAC setting spray I’ve been wanting to try. It’d be nice if Sephora carried a major brand like MAC. I’m thinking at larger malls, they have the free standing MAC stores, so maybe that’s why.

Nordstrom, Banana R. and J Crew had some spring things out...coral every where...and the 6th or 7th year of gladiator sandals. Time for a change...new styles must be available. Guess I’m not purging in my closet with the prospect of replacing anything.

Great lunch at Cheesecake Factory. I sat at the bar like a big girl! Felt like that character Lily Tomlin plays...the little girl in the huge chair w/ her legs dangling. My feet never reach the rail at a bar and just hang there. I had white wine, my roasted beet and goat cheese salad (yum), a side of sweet potato fries (hey, this was a day to indulge) & ordered a piece of cheesecake to go for dh. On the way home, a quick stop at TJ Maxx and then WholeFoods. At 3, a two hour nap...much needed sleep. Dh called at 5 to see if I wanted dinner out to have a 100% day off. Who can  say no to that?

Now, after a hot bath, my Vanicream (😁), and cup of camomile tea, I figured I’d check in here to see what I missed. Then sweet dreams of a relaxing, carefree day. Just what the doctor ordered.
