@AnikaBrodie  Yum, sounds delicious!  I made bacon sauteed cabbage w/onions, and boneless pork chops in the George Foreman, marinated in Chaka sauce.

If you live alone are you struggling with all of this more do you think?   I have done the suggested things:  walking, social distance visiting with my sister who lives close by etc. but I am still having too much time on my hands.  I am too distracted and worried to concentrate on anything.  any suggestions welcome!

@gellen   I have always napped in the afternoon...long before this mess. That takes care of a few hours in the afternoon. In the morning, I check email, have a leisurely breakfast, throw in the laundry, shower, dress, maybe do my nails, etc. Boom. Lunch time. I watch a recorded movie during or after lunch or look for something on Netflix. When I can (today it's raining), I'm out walking with Molly for an hour in the morning and an hour before dinner. Add in the afternoon a nap, cleaning up around the house...I organized my closet, dresser, kitchen cabinets and have the pantry and linen closets to go. By 5, it's time to think "What's for dinner?".

Many of us, who don't work from home or have kids to look after, are getting into a routine that's boring!!! Just please hang in there and know it won't be forever. Come here if you need to and page any of us. I'm @Shanus  and I check in a few times a day. I'd love to hear from you. Computer pals! 🦋

@gellen  BTW, I have a DH, but he's at the office all day and finishing tax returns at night, so except for company 1/2 hr. at dinner, I'm in the same boat as you.

Since Vodka is made from various grains or potatoes ... it counts as a vegetable.

@rockygems123

I'm baking today.  Made a crazy chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for DH.  It's his favorite.  We're having leftovers for dinner.

I love boiled cabbage but DH doesn't like it.  So, I "hide" it in some dishes like soups and stews, etc.  It's crazy because he loves cole slaw and pickled cabbage; anything made with raw cabbage.
