Hi all,
It was warm today so Bijou and I walked to the mail boxes. I had a uneventful day. I worked at a few chores and then Sarah and her boyfriend came over for a visit. Bijou just loves her boyfriend and generally ignores me and Sarah when he is around . Tomorrow will be colder so the sun felt good today.

Good night everyone, i hope you all are well. I have had a busy week with a routine dr visit with PCP. Brian and I had errands today, and we were out and about all afternoon.
Our temps have been cool 50s, but tomorrow will warm near 80, and then all weekend. We could use some rain, but none in the forecast.
I plan to catch up on the posts tomorrow so I can find out what you all are up to.
Sleep well.
sending light and love

I just saw this!! I love love love it. Before my mom passed, she sent me a bouquet of pink tulips. 💕 I did order a lush pink tulip wreath from qvc a couple years ago that I get out each spring. I have not had luck planting tulip bulbs so I stick to my wreath.
@hullie I understand now why pink tulips are so special to you.

Ed and I always loved tulips too and they were part of our flower garden. Back in September, before his aspiration pneumonia diagnosis, I couldn't find Ed and thought he had gone for a ride around campus on his Jazzy wheelchair. He often did that.
A little while later I heard noise from the garage and checked it out. There he was with several extra-large containers planting tulip bulbs in fresh planting soil so I'd have them in the spring. That was Ed, always so considerate. After planting them he sat them aside and told me they'd sprout and be beautiful in the spring. Oh, how I miss Ed, always and always.

Today is another bitter cold day. It was zero degrees when I took the recycle bin out at 7:45. Now it's up to 3 and sunny. Saturday is to be frigid with high winds, clouds and sun. We've been warned to bundle up and stay indoors and I plan to do that.
Stay warm and safe. Take care everyone. I love you all.
@AnikaBrodie Those tulips that Ed planted will hold extra meaning and memories all full of love for you.
You are going to have the weather we just had a few days ago. It is bitter and I would stay home, too, if given a choice.
