Personally, both of my children were born in May, my Mom, SIL, my son's fiancee daughter, and a friend.

Good afternoon and happy Saturday! We've been through a rainy spell for several days and today is a dry day. A short dry few days and then more rain is on the way. I take the beautiful days when they come and enjoy the beautiful sunshine!

When I put my own inserts in the new NB sneakers, they became a little snug at the toe area. So I've ordered another pair 1/2 size longer. Which ever size works the best, I'll keep. They are expected to arive on Wednesday next week. I'm telling you, I love these shoes. They are cute, feel really good on my feet and I love how they look on my feet. Calam wants me to order extra pairs so I'll always have some. Finding shoes that are right for me is always hard but not this time. Just need to make sure that my toes have enough length. They have enough room in these NB. Isn't it wonderful!

I'm still working on catching up on my laundry but I don't think you ever catch up. I've added the bath mat and bedding to the loads. I'm very close though. I don't want to get backed up anymore.

I met Calam at WM yesterday morning to get a few groceries. I forgot that it's the first of the month and they were so crowded. Calam found a shopping scooter for me and rode it until I got there and then she got my shopping cart. A sweet thing to do. I got a cabbage, I've been wanting cabbage lately but I have a tough time chopping it up. So I invested in a Chef's knife because thats what I see the women use on the cooking videos. I just like it steamed with a little butter. There are many cabbage recipes on line that I've looking at but I think just steamed with butter will be delicious to me. I also got some yellow squash and some eggs for scrambled egg sandwiches which I like. I use the pan to toast my bread on both sides and then scramble the egg. A tasty sandwich!

My stomach has been getting adjusted to leaving off the Ozempic and I feel very much lighter and very much better. I know that it helps a lot of people with weight loss, and I wanted to see if it would help my blood sugar become completely controlled but it's just not for me. I feel much better now in my tummy area.

I hope that everyone is having a really good weekend and finding a little bit of joy in it! It's a wonderful day here.

@1Snickers, I almost forgot to mention that King Charles and Camilla were in your neck of the woods and wonder how that went. I hope they had a wonderful visit.

@AnikaBrodie , I run our dishwasher at night also. The next morning they have cooled, and are ready to put away.

Our weather will be in the 80s now for a while, and no rain in our forecast. No rain for us so far this spring, but also no stormy weather.

The picture of the flowers for the area by your sunroom look beautiful. My grandmother loved all kinds of flowers, and she had many varieties. She passed in 1984, but I can still see her yard all these years later.

I hope you find some pleasure in working in your yard when the weather finally warms up to stay. I imagine Alfie will help.
