Fresh...Not Live, Table Top Christmas Trees 🌲

[ Edited ]
Every year, I get a live table top tree to put in my dining room for Christmas. It started with Valerie Parr Hill's Fresh Balsam tabletop tree. Then, when they were no longer available/became very expensive, someone on this board suggested Lynch Creek Farms. I have been getting them at Lynch Creek Farms for about 8 to 10 years. I usually order in July. Right now, they are all sold out. Does anyone know of anyplace else to get fresh table top trees? I tried one year to go cheaper(they are very expensive) with one from Walmart. It couldn't begin to compare to Lynch Creek Farms! 😞

In my area fresh tabletop trees are readily found at garden centers, home repair stores, and outside grocery stores. The ones outside the nicer, more organic grocery stores, have the best ones. They are full, come with a stand, and are not expensive. I want to say $25-$30 ish. They will show up before Thanksgiving. Always a little thrill when I first see them and they go quickly.

That's sounds like a lovely idea. Sorry they're sold out...I was going to look into it!

Years ago, I bought my neighbor a table top boxwood, decorated tree from one of my local garden stores.

That's where I would look again if I wanted something like this. I'm not sure about where to find good ones online, and I realize you probably are looking for a more traditional, evergreen type. The boxwood tree was beautiful, but doesn't have the fragrance of the other type trees.

Anyway, local garden stores is my first thought, if you have any near you and can get there, though it sounds like you'd prefer to order online and have it shipped to you. I'm thinking of the well known Christmas tree place I heard of a few years ago...but they might only do artificial....if I remember it I'll comment again later. Interested to see what others come up with here.

At my local grocery store, around the holidays, they sell real table top trees of rosemary--- cone shaped like a xmas tree --they put a couple of little tree decors on it --stands maybe 12". think runs about $25 or so---in a red/green foiled container. Kind of cute I think and you can snip off little bits for your cooking. And plant it in your garden too.

LL Bean sells them every year. A few different sizes and styles are available.

@Starpolisher

They aren’t sold out. The shop at Lynch Creek was closed until the start of Christmas in July, today. They are on sale!😊

Re: Fresh...Not Live, Table Top Christmas Trees 🌲

Last year I decided to go with a fresh cut table top tree instead of my larger Christmas tree. I bought a 4' tree in a stand at a local nursery. It was around $40.

I think Home Depot and some of the grocery stores near me also sold them.

My days of putting up and taking down a full size tree are over.
