Free 2-Year Magazine Subscriptions?

Some posters here have stated they never pay for magazine subscriptions as they belong to "freebie websites" and constantly get 2-year subscriptions to their favorite magazines free.

What "freebie websites" are being referred to.   Can you please share - I'm sure there are many of us that would like some free subscriptions too!   Thank you!!!!

Not a clue.  There are quite a few I never wanted.  Hope you find them.

Re: Free 2-Year Magazine Subscriptions?

Five years ago I started getting Martha Stewart's Living mag - had never seen it before.  Subscription ran for at least 2 years - I had no interest but neighbor wanted it.  The Allure (sp) all that cosmetic stuff came for a year or more.  Had never seen the mag before.  It's comes through a promotion thing - from some website you purchased I guess.

You can read most magzines on line and never pay = I think.

Re: Free 2-Year Magazine Subscriptions?

I think many people get free subscription when they buy something online and the merchant unknowingly and without permission enters one in their name.  HSN was doing this for awhile.  Usually after a free period, thete is a request to continue for payment.  I haven't heard much about it lately.

i get a lot of subscriptions. sometimes when i renew mine i get one or two FREE gift subscriptions to send to others.

i have not really received any FREE except for a while when HSN was doing freebies with certain purchases.

if you sign up with BRADS DEALS there are a lot of times where you can get a subscription for $5 for a full year.

I did online surveys years ago and earned points. I could trade in my points for magazine subscriptions.

I know it's obvious, but never give them your credit card number. Or else they will charge you when the free subscription ends. It happened to my elderly Mom and boy I had a heck of a time getting them to stop it.

Re: Free 2-Year Magazine Subscriptions?

A few years ago, I started receiving Glamour. I'd been a senior citizen for quite some time--my  Glamour days, if I'd ever had them, were long in the past. So I passed along the copies to a young woman across the hall. I also received Better Homes & Gardens for a while (not really applicable to my life in an apartment).

Eventually, I found out these freebies were due to purchases I had made at HSN.

Re: Free 2-Year Magazine Subscriptions?

The only free ones I know of are the ones that you can get after a purchase but then after the free is done you are charged yearly on the card you made the original purchase from.  I know many who get the free year subscriptions and keep a log of when they need to cancel but I don't want to be bothered.  I just buy a magazine I find interesting at the grocery or  drug store.
