Re: For you coffee nuts, How do you make it?

I use a Hamilton Beach percolator in cool & cold weather, and drink instant in warm & hot weather.

When in college, my millennial child requested I send a percolator there.

Once in a while I drink International Delight's Mocha over ice. My SIL heats it in the microwave.

What size is the Starbucks coffee you get?  This is 32oz and costs $5.98.

@monicakm  Its two bottles of 48 ounces for 9.99 but they often have them for 2 dollars off.  I stock up when they do that!  You can probably find it on their website.

Omigosh, we brew it in every possible fashion.

We have two grind-and-drip coffee-makers for everyday. One is a Cuisinart. Don't recall the name of the "backup" brand.

Have a Bialetti stovetop expresso maker that I use to make cappuccino.

I have an individual-serving French press.

I make cold-brew in Mason jars in the frig.

We also have a percolator to take camping.

Coffee-making accessories include an electric coffee grinder and a milk steamer/frother.

We also keep on hand several different types of instant coffee.

We love coffee, as you can tell.

Love my Keurig. I use Original Donut Shop regular coffee and International Delight creamer and cold foam caramel macchiato. Usually two cups in the morning.  Love it.

I nuke it for 35 seconds before adding the creamer.

My Keurig is a single serve - 13 yrs old.  I bought another one as a back up about a year ago but haven't had to use it.  I don't like the idea of the water reservoir.

Wow, thanks so much. I tried to talk my husband into getting a new membership when it was $20 last week. I don't know if it still is but I'm going to check on it right now.

@monica I prefer Sams to costco for a few reason.  Costco adds shipping to the cost with no option to reduce by spending more.  Sams club waives shipping if you spend 50 (not long ago it was free for anything but that couldn't be a good business model)  Also they have scan and go, you download the app and ring up your purchases as you shop, no lines getting out of the store, cameras check your cart to make sure it all looks right and they waive you through, every now and then if things don't look right they will check at few things in your basket.

They have the sugar free italian creamer also.  At Thanksgiving their smoked turkey is excellent, you just warm it up.  I think their rotisserie chickens are better also.

I bought both my daughters memberships for Christmas, I paid 50 for each though because you can't get the 25 dollar price for someone else.  They did throw in two 9.99 insulated bags.

Re: For you coffee nuts, How do you make it?

My off the boat Italian dad would not get up from the dinner table until he had his expresso.  That's where all of us, the 2nd generation, learned to drink coffee quite young.  I have my mom's expresso coffee pot.

When I worked at General Foods, my attorney boss was the counsel for Maxwell House.  I remember when we started experimenting with the first versions of the Keurig style coffee machine.  We also went to "coffee school".

I am a Keurig person.  I now have the model with the water reservoir on the side.  I've had it several years; I think I got it on QVC for about $99.  Not to curse it, but it's still going strong.  Don't tell anyone but I really like Folger's Black Silk brand.  I'm also a flavored coffee person and usually stock up on Kcups when I'm shopping at Wegman's.  They have a great selection.  I also like Gevalia (our brand) Cappuccino k-cups.  They come with a "frothy" packet.  I use a little 1/2 & 1/2 & a cold foam creamer to top it off.

I'm also a cold brew coffee drinker.  I prefer the Stoke brand, but sometimes make it myself.

Fun subject Smoochy!

We use this very old Cuisinart TTG-500 Two to Go coffeemaker with the 2" Melita filters.

It hasn't been manufactured in quite a while but I've repurchased new ones from ebay twice now.

Re: For you coffee nuts, How do you make it?

I use the Mr Coffee 5-cup maker, too. It's just me and my doctor said to drink only one cup a day, so this works for me. I make one cup (2 cups per the maker), I love freshly made coffee and don't drink any that's been in the pot for longer than it takes to brew. Half & Half, no sugar. I have an espresso machine that I drink if I need an extra boost during the day and don't have time for a nap. Not a fan of coffee chain stores, I don't care for any sweetener in my coffee or tea. I grind my beans sometimes, sometimes I just use Seattle Best, Maxwell House original brew, or Eight O'Clock. My preferred manner is to grind my own beans but I always keep some on hand that's already ground.
