Re: For you coffee nuts, How do you make it?

I have a Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker. Uses paper filters and let it drip. I drink my coffee black, nothing else in it.

Love our Keurigs, in the house we use a commercial Keurig, we love it because it is drainable.

Keurig mini.  I dont like the water reservior hanging out.  Starbucks dark french roast. Always black.  If I need an afternoon pick me up. it's iced dunkin latte with two shots of caramel.  Yummm !  Even in winter, Im an iced coffee girl.

Re: For you coffee nuts, How do you make it?

I used to make coffee in electric coffee makers but they would eventually leak or I would break the glass carafe.  Then I took a close look in the water reservoir with a flash light.  I live in Florida, and, yes, I would run the cleaner through the machine, but there was always slime mold growing on the sides of the water reservoir no matter what I did.  That reservoir is dark and moist, perfect for stuff to grow. Ewwww.

Switched to a French press and love it.  Purchased a version with an insulated stainless carafe to keep the coffee hot. I have done the pour-over method, also, but having to babysit pouring in the water annoyed me after a while.  I purchase medium roast whole beans from Costco when on sale, grind enough beans to last me a week and store the ground coffee in a ceramic container with a gasket seal.  Only half-n-half, no sugar, in my coffee.  Sometimes I'll put a dash of cinnamon in the French press.  I don't add salt because I make sure to purchase beans that are described as having a low acid, smooth finish.

Tried all the various non-dairy coffee creamers, gag me, all too sweet and taste nothing like milk.  Can't stand Starbucks, the coffee tastes burned and bitter, that's why they add all the flavorings and sweetners to make their cheap, burned coffee beans palatable.  And they charge an arm and a leg for it.  Yes, I am a coffee snob, lol.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

I love my Ninja coffee maker. It is a drip cone. I use a strong french roast. I add cinnamon. The Ninja makes it super duper quick plus it also has a timer, and various size modes, and types of coffee.

I also have a small Breville expresso/capaccino maker when I want something special.

I add the brown sugar creamer from Trader Joes and in combination with almond milk. I have a battery operated frother. Yum.

I love coffee...the smell, the taste...

I currently have a Nespresso machine and love it.

I used to have a Keurig. Coffee always came out weak and I'd have to add instant to it.

The Nespresso makes a great cup of coffee. The higher price of their capsules are well worth it. Threw out my Keurig once I got the Nespresso. Will never go back.

I use Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha creamer.
