     I know that this has been a very trying time for you.  Even when we know it is coming, we really never are prepared for the passing of our parents.

     Thank you so much for reaching out to people on QVC with your concerns.  You definitely got a lot of people thinking about God, life, death, and other important topics.

Writer With Flair posted in another thread about your Dad and your Mom.  I'm so sorry for all the pain you've been through.  It's such a horrible struggle trying to find help for the people you love and it's devastating when you find you can't provide all the care they need yourself, as much you want to.  No matter which way you turn, there are just no good answers, but you keep thinking there SHOULD be, somewhere. 

You feel yourself drowning, and everytime you find a place to stand and catch a breath, the sand washes out from under your feet and down you go again. 

I understand you asked for help and advice from the people on these Boards, and I hope with all my heart you found information that did help -- or at least a good place to START in finding resources.  What a good idea to think to ASK.  I know you found lots of love and caring.  I especially hope you found some peace and comfort for yourself and for your dad on his concerns about belief. 

Know that prayers and warm wishes are flowing you way from the posters here as you grieve.  Be assured that one day your memories will make you smile again, even thought right now all the memories just hurt.
