@ID2Like you, I just don't think reading the news online is the same as a print copy of the paper which is why I pay to have a daily paper delivered.  It's a luxury, but I'd rather give up buying a piece of jewelry or a few clothing items than give up my papers.

I do read from newspapers I don't have delivered online and one of the things I've noticed is that I don't read as carefully and I don't retain as much when I'm reading from my screen.  I'd think it's just me, but I once talked with a college librarian who maintains that the students who do all their research online tend to  be far more superficial than those who stay just online.  That was some years back -   hope that has changed.  Deep issues require deep research and thought, not super-quick reading and comment.

Love the real estate section! 

Used to love the travel section--found some awesome deals to luxurious places on different continents. It came to a dead stop immediately after 9/11 and took quite a while to pick back up again.

I start with the sports section.  Then the main section, followed by the metro section, and last of all - the section that contains the crossword puzzle.....the crossword puzzle being my main reason for subscribing these days!!!!!

Only time I read our local, or any newspaper, is when waiting in one of my doctor's offices. Also at or in the hospital getting either a blood transfusion or iron infusions.

Go to obits first to see if my name is there. Then to editorial page to read it's mostly ideologically focused fairy tales, some real news, where somebody obviously made a mistake.

We only get the Sunday paper.  The section I look at is the Variety.  That is the section with the cryptoquip, crossword puzzles, horoscopes, and comics.  It also has Sodouko but I rarely attempt that puzzle.
