I am not a big user of Facebook - I don't want friends, I just look things up and also sell some things on Marketplace.
Can someone tell me, and yes I have tried to figure this out on my own....can CHATS be deleted in Messenger? They are messages that I had with people that asked questions about things they are interested in purchasing.
I am one of those people that likes things neat and tidy and it makes me nuts to see all the old messages.
Thanks for any advice.

Good question ! I will be checking back for the answer as well ! I read your request and started checking my messenger page but couldn't find the answer.

@Mom2Dogs, if you are using it to sell some items, why would you not want to be able to communicate with potential buyers?

@spumoni99 Thanks !!! I typed my response to the question, saved my post, then saw your response. I went to messenger pressed on the message I wanted to delete and it worked as instructed. I have many messages to delete ! Big thanks for the question and the answer !!

@Goodie2shoes I always google these types of questions, not sure why that isn't the first thing people try???

Maybe to avoid thousands of returns that may or not be accurate or may be outdated compared to getting information like this "from the horse's mouth" or from posters that are more sophisticated researchers?

@MarpMy browser always shows the best option in a paragraph at the top? It has usually always been correct for me.
