Next week flu shot, but debating on covid vaccine. Said there is a new one for Seniors. Never had a reaction to all I have taken, but haven't had one in a year.

Got senior flu and the latest Covid vaccines today. Aside from  specific medical contraindications, I cannot see any valid evidence-based reason not to. Extensive clinical studies, not any one person's "one off" experience, support the value and safety of these vaccines for the vast majority of people. Even if it does not prevent my getting Covid, I will be glad to have a milder case than if not vaxed.

Because my father is in assisted living, we'll most likely get the Covid shots.  I guess they're boosters.

The initial two shots I got in 2020, I was sick exactly 12 hours after they were administered and was flat on my back sick for exactly 12 hours.  I lost 5 lbs each time.

So that's something to look forward to!

Wow! I'm better today, but just really tired. I didn't think my thread would open the flood gate of opinions...yay and nay. I was just letting you know how I react to the vaxes offered.

I will continue to get flu, Covid and all other injections suggested by my doc....not just for my health but to protect others I come in contact with.
