I had my flu shot this past Saturday. My first time opting for the 65+ dose. I had massive fatigue and drowsiness on Sunday. I never even got dressed on Sunday. Monday, I was fine.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

My Dr recommended that I NOT have another Covid vaccine due to my reactions.  Each time has gotten worse.  I was in bed with a fever and many other nasty symptoms for 4 days.  My friend had hers a week ago and ended up in the ER with brain swelling from her reaction.  Again, each time she had it, she became sicker and sicker.  I think there are a small group of us that shouldn't have these.  I'm glad the majority can tolerate these and stay healthy and safe.

I have no problem with the Flu shots.

I am so glad to read that many are taking their health seriously and also taking other peoples health seriously, too.  I had my flu shot a couple of weeks ago and the newest Covid shot a week later.  Please if you have not had your updated vac yet think about your health and others that you come in contact with. You never know what that person is dealing with healthwise.

I never get vaccines together. I space them out. I also don't get them until the end of October as they only last 3 months. The only time I ever had the flu was at the end if March.

I have never had a reaction to the flu vaccine. I have achy joints for about 36 hrs with the covid vaccine. I get both the flu and covid vaccines together in the same arm.

My area has high covid breakouts right now. Those who I heard  had covid this fall were very sick but thankfully survived.

I got my flu shot 2 weeks ago, with no side effects. Next will be covid and then whatever else I need--still need the shingles and also pneumonia--that is my project for th rest of this year. I had reactions to the 2nd covid shot during the pandemic--that one kicked my tookus-- and then nothing much with the others, maybe sore arm and a little funky feeling for a day or 2. I ony get 1 shot at a time and in my right arm--don't get anything with needles or pressure done on my left arm as that is the side I had breast cancer and the lymph nodes removed. It is prone to cellulitis if abused like that.

I take my health very seriously and am knowledgable about how to stay/get healthy and well without big pharma involved at all. There are so many better options than shots and it's unfortunate so many keep falling for this scam.

The very first time I got a flue shot - over 40 years ago -  I had a reaction.  Same thing with my first covid shot.   With subsequent injections, the reactions are less and less severe.

Key findings from research on COVID-19 deaths among the unvaccinated:
  • 2021–2022: A study published in the National Institutes of Health estimated that between May 30, 2021, and September 3, 2022, approximately 232,000 deaths among unvaccinated adults in the U.S. were preventable had they received a primary vaccination series. The Kaiser Family Foundation similarly found that 234,000 adult COVID-19 deaths that occurred between June 2021 and March 2022 could have been prevented with timely vaccination.
  • Early vaccine rollout (2021): An analysis from the AU/UGA Medical Partnership reported that for a period in July 2021, 98% to 99% of Americans dying from COVID were unvaccinated.

You might consider it a scam but I do not.  I am glad you are healthy and feel you do not need vaccines to remain that way.  Some of us unfortunately are not as healthly as we would like and need the extra protection that vaccines give us.
