Embarrassing lost order!

Geez! I've been ordering post-surgery items from Amazon to help me after my hip replacement that's happening this Thursday. Today they delivered an empty, unsealed brown envelope. Why in the world would the guy leave an empty envelope on the front step?! I looked in the yard, and no item to be found!

What's worse is what was supposed to be in the envelope, a PORTABLE BIDET! LOL!!! Of all the packages to have a problem, cripes! Forget trying to report it online. They want you to return the item. How can you return a missing item?

I called CS, how embarrassing! She was very professional, but kept putting me on hold. Probably laughing about my situation no doubt.😃

I'm stressed about the surgery as it is, but this helped put a little humor to it all. ...i yi yi.... 🤪

@LdyBugz Oh my. Someone needed it more than you. Glad you have your sense of humor! Best of luck on your surgery. I've never had a hip or knee (yet!). A friend had hip, she said best decision ever! I hope you have some help at home.

@LdyBugz. Not to make light of your situation but the thought of some kid finding it and trying to figure out what it is, gave me a good giggle. Wait til he asks his mom.

Sorry for your sad plight. Did Amazon give you a refund?

@LdyBugz Good luck with your surgery! I can't wait for mine but it will be closer to summer. Are you in a lot of pain now? I will be following your post surgery outcome I am very curious! I am sure it will go great.

@Kachina624. It gave me a good chuckle, too! I mean, of all the packages, right?! LOL! And yes, they gave me a refund, and a replacement order should arrive tomorrow. Let's hope the package isn't empty this time. 😆

@spumoni99. Thank you for the good wishes! Yes, the pain is horrible. It's just bone on bone torture. Can't get comfortable sitting, sleeping, and can only stand for a short while. Better days ahead though, I hope! 🤞🤞

@LdyBugz, you will be fine, no better after your replacement. Had mine replaced about 8 years ago. Easy recovery and no problems since. Good thoughts and good luck.

@LdyBugz Just want to wish you the best with your surgery. I am having a hip replacement on 2/24. I can think of many more fun ways to spend our time!

@LdyBugz I am almost at that point, first thing in the morning is awful! Once I move around a bit its a bit better. I had a shot in the joint on January 5, it has helped a bit.

I'm okay sitting but sleeping not so much and walking and standing are hard. Yes I am sure it will be so much better after the surgery. Just do what they recommend and you will do great! Good luck!
