It was fantastic.   We had totality in Cleveland and it was amazing.   The day started with rain and clouds but cleared up for the eclipse.   Temperature dropped about 10 degrees during totality.

Totally underwhelming.  We were supposed to be 80% and the skies were clear, basically it looked like it got a little cloudy.  The eclipse in 2017 was much much better.

@chrystaltree ... I'm in Buffalo, New York and l saw a PERFECT total eclipse !!! We were 100% totality here. All of a sudden the clouds parted a few times and the moon was going over the sun and then there it was!! Got totally dark out ... neighbors outside lights came on, stars came out ... It was a sight to see !!! I was so happy l got to see it !!! 😊

l didn't need to go anywhere except my back yard. I heard people clapping and ooohs and ahs. A group gathered down the street. Awesome sight!! 😎

I'm in Pa. and it was nice in the morning then it got cloudy. I didn't have glasses but I saw people out watching. Not sure how much they got to see with the clouds. I did go outside, though, and it was cold. Must have dropped about 10 degrees.

Here in Pittsburgh we lucked out!
The clouds decided to cooperate!

What an experience!
