Among Friends

@mspemberly, Your lovely post, with photos and poetry, brought more tears to my eyes.  
You reminded me that Cathy often was one of the first to comfort others, who were expressing their personal grief and pain, by posting this poem by Henry Scott-Holland.  
I found it in her photos, and felt as though she was talking to us through this,

"from somewhere very near, just round the corner".  
She said it was a favorite, and comforting to her.
I saw that she commented that she wished she had this to read and reflect upon when her son, Josh, passed away.

I am deeply saddened reading that ECBG has passed. She was such a kind soul. 

My sincere condolences to her family, her friends, and to all of the people whose lives she touched and who were better because of her. 🙏❤

I was stunned to read this news.  So very sad for her family and friends and also those of us used to seeing her posts on these boards.  

She was a long-time poster and I saw that someone at QVC left a message on the funeral home's website on behalf of everyone here.  I think that was a very thoughtful gesture.

The love shown for ECBG is such a true inspiration for friendship.  She felt the love and returned the love throughout all her posts.  Friends are treasures then - now - always.

Sometimes I wondered what ECBG meant and since reading the obituary I saw that the CBG stood for her initials but don't know what E meant. Cathy along with her former initial B and G her married initial. It was so unusual.
