Years ago lots of my friends

used to shop QVC.  In fact, I remember my one friend & I would take the day off for CIJ, Big Bonanza silver days when QVC really offered unique and good prices!

No, can’t say as I know any one who shops here at the Q. I know I shop minimally. Nothing this year. Can find less expensive better quality things elsewhere. Along with faster shipping.

Especially before Amazon, I knew people who liked the convenience of shopping with QVC.

I remember doing that back in the day.  We'd take a half day off and race home to watch Big Bonanza Silver Day or Fashion Day.  After that, computers on our desks and our smart phones meant we didn't have to be at home to watch QVC.

I know two women who shop at QVC. I still do, but maybe not as much as a couple years ago.

I don't know anyone who shops at the Q personally but I went to a convention once and saw a woman wearing the same liquid knit dress that I had at home. She looked good and I told her so. I've seen Logo  stuff on people but it seems to be out of style now as I don't see anyone wearing it any longer. Made me realize how good the tailoring is/was on items from the Q at that time. I also saw a woman at the pharmacy with a purse I recognized from the Q. I didn't say anything but had been wondering if I wanted it. That time, I realized it was too big and heavy for me personally.

I decided to cut back shopping at QVC and HSN. Reasons are mostly the poor quality and the smell of the clothing as it arrives. I will not buy DG2 again from HSN, it smells so bad! These chemicals can not be good for us. I switched to Land's End because this is the type of clothing I wear now since retiring. But again, I am not buying as much as I was during the early pandemic when bored.

I don't know anyone presently who shops QVC. My sweet sister did.

In 2006 at Christmas my sweet sister and I decided to take a riverboat cruise on the Rhine and continued on to Vienna. Christmas markets were fabulous and the stops in small villages glorious. 
On one of the stops there was a small family (Ameticans) father, mother teen girl and young boy.

I had brought along a beautiful Susan Graver dress, jacket and pants. The jacket was made from a light weight brocade and the dress and pants had a slight shimmer to them, a beautiful outfit. A very light red color.

I was going to wear it at our last night in Vienna.

'Two nights before Vienna what do my eyes see? Above mentioned teen girl with the same outfit!

I wore black in Vienna.

Do I know anyone who shops at QVC?  Sort of, maybe, who knows?

My sweet sister told me to pack light, I should have listened.

Very rarely.  Nothing I really want or need and the prices seem high.
