Re: Did You Get A Reverse Umbrella Last Time?

I have one.  I like it. It takes a little practice learning to get out of the car. You lose that automatic opening with a regular umbrella. It's when you get back in the car it is very nice.  When it is closed, the wet is on the inside and the outside is perfectly dry. No wet seat. I kinda slant minr so  excess moisture can run out. When I get home, I just stand it up.  It stands upright and dries.  Such awesome designs. I got a daisy.   I bought my daughter polka dots. The designs are inside so on the outside the color is a solid color.  I bought mine on Amazon and bought the one that has a carry bag with it.   A fun thing.   It's fun to see people's expressions when people think your umbrella turned upside out   I used mine at Drs office yesterday and it was nice to close it and be able to carry a dry umbrella

@yock,I was thinking of getting out of the car.  My floor mats each hold a qt of water.  That will evaporate, but I won't be wet and clammy!!!

Re: Did You Get A Reverse Umbrella Last Time?

I'm thinking that maybe we should have a square bucket/bin in the back seat floor area or passenger seat floor.  That way, the umbrella can drain into the bucket.  I wouldn't want my floor carpet mats wet.  In the rainy season, I have an adult underpad spread out on the front passenger floor.  Also, those plastic umbrella sleeves.  I dry them out and re-use them during the rainy season, just so my car floors stay somewhat dry.   Soaking-wet carpet mats bother me.  I guess I should buy some plastic/rubber ones instead, lol.

I think it would be easy to turn upside down and let dry?    Easier than a regular one that has to be partially open.   I just don't like that big bulky handle.
