Delightful afternoon

[ Edited ]

Spent with my husband's grandson, his wife and their 10 month old daughter. They live in another state. We had not met the wife or daughter. What a cute baby! Pulls herself up and cruises the furniture, waves hi and bye. Says a couple of words. We were instantly smitten. My own grandson is eighteen. My daughter doesn't have kids. It's cool to be someone's Great Gramgram (they gave me that name and I love it) and you should've seen my husband, Great Papa, acting so goofy haha.  he and the baby Seraphina blew raspberries at each other and giggled.
Before they left I took the young momma to my purse closet and let her choose any she wanted. She loved the Anuschka crossbody bag in Blue Elephant. I also gave her an Anuschka wallet because she said her mom would love it. You all know how I love purses and if they don't all get used regularly I'm happy to give them away.

This was a welcome visit that distracted us from our terrible sadness over losing our precious Lola dog this week.

What a wonderful day.  So glad you had a day of happiness to counter balance the sadness of losing your fur baby.

What a wonderful visit!

Giving away the handbag is so special because it's a "gift of the heart".
