Re: Life Line Screening - Anyone Satisfied ??

I used to use them years ago, but since I started having heart problems, I just go to my Cardiologist.

I guess they're okay, but from what I've heard, they aren't so good lately.

If I thought I might be having problems, I wouldn't trust them.  I would get my pcp to send me to a Cardio doc.  Just my opinion.

@BunSnoop.  I don't understand why you'd even consider a service with such poor reviews unless your life is too peaceful and you need some aggravation.

If your doctor won't or did not to suggest why would you have it done?

I'm sure if you doctor felt it necessary they would have ordered it themselves.

!

@BunSnoop Any idea what percentage of the reviews were negative?  I am not surprised there were some, but if a majority of the responses were in the 3-5 categories I'd save my time and my money for potentionally better advice.

I've seen their ads but I am already screening annually with my local cardiologist,

Ask your doc about screenings that concern you  before you go ahead and book a service on your own.

I read your post right before you deleted it @BunSnoop . Just wanted you to know I had the recommended tests and about a month later I had a heart attack. So I think poorly of the service and wasted money. Take care.💐💐💕

@Trinity11 , thank you for your kind reply.  I'm sorry to hear about your heart attack and hope you're doing better.  My husband passed away recently from a heart attack so I was just curious.    Thank you again - take care.

Thank you @BunSnoop . It was 10 years ago that I had the testing. My last heart attack was 9 years ago but I am blessed with a wonderful doctor and doing well.

I am sorry to read about your husband's passing. I follow your posts, so I know the unspeakable loss you have had to endure. Thinking of you and wishing you my best.💐💕

@CelticCrafter , sometimes you need to be your own advocate.  My doctor did not order a preventive heart scan but I had one done on my own based on the information I read in a brochure in the outpatient diagnostic imaging department.   The results came back and I was referred to a cardiologist.   Doctors don't normally order the scan because it's not covered by Medicare.  I don't care whether or not Medicare covers it - I only want what's best for me.   If I had not been an advocate for myself, I never would be under the care that I am now of a cardiologist and receiving the treatment plan he prescribed for me.    Sometimes you have to take things into your own hands.
