@wagirl , I just looked at Dana's Instagram page, and she said in late August that she is entering a clinical trial for her breast cancer. She said the scientists told her other than a fever she shouldn't expect side effects. 

She said she is told this will eradicate cancer from her body. She also said she will give updates as she goes through the treatment. 

Dana is very emotional, and focused on the cancer. I can imagine through the past 10 years it has really affected her mentally. She talks about it a lot.

@Tissyanne --thank you for the info. I went thru stage 3 breast cancer dx in 2012,   am  a very fortunate survivor and no sign of recurrence for me. Can't imagine dealing with it for 10 years-----she is a very strong woman!!!

So happy to hear Dana is doing well.

Thanks for posting the details @Tissyanne . From what Dana wrote I suspect this is a Car-t therapy drug trial for breast cancer. My eye doctor told me the other day his sister is going to do it for the same cancer and that it is a drug trial.

There are other potential issues with Car-t, but my hope for Dana is that she experiences a slight fever and it gives her remission.

I'm pretty sure Suzane Sommers did Car-t as well.  I remember seeing a video where Al said that's what they were trying for her.
