Hello my friends! Today we had a very beautiful day! Lori gave up some of her lilies and she and Linus, me too, went over to Darla's to plant them. Lori couldn't stay long - had to get sheets washed etc. for massaging tomorrow, but we stayed for supper, I helped Darla make a seafood lasanga which she can turn into small meals later by freezing it. It was very good. She is really miserable, I feel for her. She is extremely sore. Please offer a prayer for her for relief and comfort and for the safe delivery. Thanks so much again.
There is no real happiness without God and no peace when we separate ourselves

M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
Self-discipline is necessary before we can handle the power God offers
us. When we see others manifesting God's power, we probably have not
seen the discipline that went before. They made themselves ready. All
our life is a preparation for more good to be accomplished when God
knows that we are ready for it. We can keep disciplining ourselves in
the spiritual life every day. We can learn so much of the spiritual
laws that our lives cannot again be a failure. Others will see the
outward manifestation of the inward discipline in our daily living.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that I may manifest God's power in my daily living. I pray that
I may discipline myself so as to be ready to meet every opportunity.
Unceasing Prayer
Dear Father, who answers our prayers,
Help me to be steadfast in my praying to you, even to stay awake that I may pray!
Fill my life with thanksgiving to you.
O God, I pray for all your servants everywhere that you may open a door for us to proclaim your Word, to declare the now-public secret - Christ crucified, glorified, and coming - and to make the message clear, as we ought to speak.
In the name of Jesus I ask you to fill our lives with your holy life and to claim all our motives and deeds as your own. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, give me the grace to become your true disciple.
Let me see ever more clearly that faith in you is not simply conviction of my mind-

Healing Prayer
Dear God:
Be my redeemer, my internal teacher, my divine physician.
Thank You for your presence in my life.
I surrender to You all I am, all I think, all I feel, and all I have.
I recognize in this moment that Yours is the power to heal and make whole.
You who have the power to work miracles,
You who rule time and space, please take me in Your arms and hold me.
Dear Lord, please lift me up and heal me.

May 30 - Jesus Calling
Time with Me cannot be rushed. When you are in a hurry, your mind flitters back and forth between Me and the tasks ahead of you. Push back the demands pressing in on you; create a safe space around you, a haven in which you can rest with Me. I also desire this time of focused attention and I use it to bless you, strengthening and equipping you for the day ahead. Thus, spending time with Me is a wise investment.
Bring Me the sacrifice of your precious time. This creates sacred space around you—space permeated with My Presence and My Peace.
Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.
