Daily Positive Thread for Thursday

Hello my friends!  What a busy day!!  First it was my husband's day off today, we started out by going to Mass, then after Mass, visited with our friends there, and then home, and after breakfast he went grocery shopping, had a visitor, and Darla called to share with us more news.  Had the long ultra sound today at the Hospital, the twins have grown to 4 1/2 inches - bigger than the normal would be,  had a growth spurt! Saw their whole bodies, little feet, fingers, eyes, nose lips, could be girls, but not sure yet, but they are identical!  Please keep your prayers going for her and the babies for their safety, she is 13 weeks pregnant now, and still a high risk.

We have every reason to be at peace because God will either protect us from
suffering or give us immense strength to see us through it.  Lord, I set
aside my anxieties because You care for me every day in every way.

Jesus said to them, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and
rest a while."  ~Mark 6:31

God can work through us better when we are not hurrying.  We can go very
slowly, very quietly, from one duty to the next, taking time to rest and
pray between.  We need not be too busy.  We can take everything in order. We
can venture often into the rest of God and we can find peace.  All work that
results from resting with God is good work.  We can claim the power to work
miracles in human lives.  We can do many things with God's help.  We can do
good things through God who rests us and gives us strength.  We can partake
regularly of rest and prayer.

I pray that I may not be in too much of a hurry.  I pray that I may take
time out often to rest with God.

MAY YOU ALWAYS FEEL LOVED
Author Unknown

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always
understand.

May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give
you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with
optimism and courage.

Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will
always be there, even when you feel most alone.

May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of
peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours every day
of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.

Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love embrace you as
you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire become part of you, so that you
may call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched
yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than
you would have wished.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead
place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around
you.

Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is
different in our own way.

What you may feel you lack in one regard may be more than compensated
for in another.

What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths
in the future.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by
yourself, and not be dependent on another's judgments of your
accomplishments.

May you always feel loved.

Prayer to Mary for a Good Mind
A. Hanrion, S.J.

O Mary, my Mother,
I offer you my soul, my mind, and my heart.
Make of me God's instrument.

Give me a penetrating mind to discover,
firm to judge,
open to understand,
free to serve the truth;

an honest mind in telling what it sees rather than what it wants to see;

a tolerant mind which does not dictate to other people,
but which explain what it sees clearly;

a mind infused by the light and the truth of your Son Jesus,
patient in faith,
while waiting for the vision of eternal life.

Amen.

Blessed Be Life

Blessed Be Life

I tell you it's good to be alive

Blessed is she who bore me and tenderly nurtured me

Blessed is the fruitful seed in the womb

Blessed is the growing embryo destined to be born this Day

Blessed is every child of God come to full term

Blessed are all the children of the universe

Blessed is every Mother who brings her baby to birth

Blessed be every Father who supports bone of his bone-flesh of his flesh

Blessed be every doctor who refuses to abort life, but seeks to save life

Blessed be the miracle of LIFE and the God of LIFE who provides for every living creature

Blessed be the Virgin Mary who did not refuse to bear the Son of God

Blessed be the Lord Jesus who did not despise being a fetus in the sanctuary of the Womb.

Brother Martin

St. Angela Merici - Feast Day Jan. 27

Healing Lord, during a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Saint Angela experienced a major devastation; she became blind. Yet she insisted on continuing the pilgrimage with devotion and enthusiasm. In my journey through this world, and in the journeys of everyone I know-especially the handicapped and disabled-help us to continue onward when adversities hit. Renew our zeal for spiritual growth. You restored Saint Angela's sight; teach us to know that Your healing love is with us even when we don't get the cures we want. Use everything to bring us closer to You. Saint Angela, pray for us. Amen.

January 27 - Jesus Calling

Trust is a golden pathway to heaven. When you walk on this path, you live above your circumstances. My glorious Light shines more brightly on those who follow this path of Life. Dare to walk on the high road with Me, for it is the most direct route to heaven. The low road is circuitous: twisting and turning in agonizing knots. There the air hangs heavy, and dark, ominous clouds predominate. Relying on your own understanding will weigh you down. Trust in Me absolutely, and I will make your path straight.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.”
—John 14:1–2

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
—Proverbs 3:5–6

Gloria, Who is expecting?  Is one of your girls expecting TWINS?  How wonderful!  Which one is expecting?   May Jesus and Mary bless the the precious babies.  Identical twins! That is so wonderful.  I will pray that all goes well.  They seem to be growing well.  Please write and tell me all about it, as I missed you talking about it.  Praise the Lord!

Glad Linus is not sick.  Hope you stay well too.  Have a good day.  We have no snow.  Just cold.

How exciting Gloria.

It must be great seeing those two lovely little babies grow.

I pray the good Lord will take care of mom and babies.

I know He will.

God bless them.

Blessings to all.
