Hello my friends! Wonderful having our new priest back again! He and Father Jerry had a great time on the Cruise! The first for the both of them. They went to Mexico. Today we went to a 90th birthday celebration for our dear friend, Sister Phyllis! It was a nice time, and she looks great!! She wishes us all to live to be 90!!

Two Horses
Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.
But if you get a closer look you will notice something quite interesting...
One of the horses is blind.
His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made him a safe and comfortable barn to live in.
This alone is pretty amazing.
But if you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. It is coming from a smaller horse in the field.
Attached to the horse's halter is a small, copper-colored bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.
As you stand and watch these two friends you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting he will not be led astray.
When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, he will stop occasionally to look back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect. Or because we have problems or challenges.
He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.
Sometimes we are the blind horse, being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
And at other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way.
1 Corinthians 10:24
Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

Hello To All.
It has rained here a bit in the Los Angeles Area. It's somewhat dark outside. Our state mourns the loss of a former first lady - Nancy Reagan. It's like you can feel something in the air with her loss. I am oh so greatly blessed I lived when the Reagans were in office as Governor and first lady of California. During his years in office (which by the way were very turbulent times being the 1960's), Mr. Reagan and his wife Nancy stayed strong and were good for many Californians as living on the west coast, we have always had a threat of attack. Mr. Reagan made the last Friday in September Native American Rememberance day. If we needed or wanted that day off from work, our employers were given to know it was ours to do so (though many employers never acknowledged it).
Again I felt so very blessed that Mr. Reagan and Nancy were in the White House for 8 years and AMERICA, MY AMERICA, MY HOMELAND stood proud and brave, she sparkled for al lthe world to see. I LIVED THROUGH THOSE TIMES, the Reagans blessed me and my America. I am so very grateful and appreciate them for crossing my life's path on this journey called life.
De Gianto Mrs. Reagan. Ah He He A. I met you once, someday we will meet again.

Hello Bobbiesue and Love Roses! Yes, I, too, remember how good it was having Ronald Reagan as our President and Nancy our First Lady. Those were good days. Now who can follow him?
That's great that Mr. Reagan made the last Friday in September Native American Remembrance Day. Thanks for posting this.
Glad Cal. finally got some rain!
