Re: Daily Positive Thread for Friday

Good morning,

I hope all is well in your world this morning.

Gloria, just a thought. Could it be the babies aren't getting satisfied at each feeding so that causes them to wake more frequently?  That happened with my son. It seemed like every hour he wanted to be fed. I gave up trying to nurse because he couldn't get enough. He consumed a lot of formula....piggy...LOL. Anyway, his doctor said he wasn't getting satisfied so he suggested putting in a little bit of baby cereal in his bottles. That worked, for a while. Formula alone wasn't cutting the boys appetite so I was allowed to feed him small amounts of cereal and certain baby food fruit. He got full and slept better. Just a suggestion for y'all. I know Darla and you are weary. Well, the little ones, too.

Hello to you other ladies. I tell you what. Don't let anyone steal your joy. There is too much drama, evil, sorrow, hate and disruption going on in the world. People that post on a blasted shopping channel forum will not take away my peace. Words are only words. If someone gets bent out of shape, that's on them. Don't let it rub off on you or rub you. God bless us all.

Go out and have a good day. Peace and blessings.

Be still, and know.

Re: Daily Positive Thread for Friday

Good morning ladies -- Gloria, beautiful inspirations today, Thank You!!  It's always so uplifting to read your posts.  I'm happy you take the time to post for us.

I wonder, too, if some cereal may be what the girls need.  I started with some cereal early for our youngest, he was eating every hour and cried inbetween those feedings. Cereal was added and things were much better.  He slept through the night shortly thereafter.  That was not our premie, though, he was a different story.  I hope the Dr. was able to give your daughter some good advise.  Or maybe a PA in the office, often I would get better advise from them. MO

I hope your mother-n-law gets better and can watch the babies, so you can get some rest and get your knee healed up.

Crystaltree2 - hope your Friday is going well.  Have a good weekend.

Ruby - have a good weekend.  Hope you enjoyed the inspirations over coffee this am.

KateE - I am so sorry to read that you will stop posting.  This thread has been so uplifting for many of us and I hoped it would help you heal and reset.  I certainly hope you have not left because of what someone in other threads has said to you.  Please reconsider, if that has been the case.  If it is something else, please continue to read this post, if nothing else.  I do believe, in the long run, it will help you.  I sure do look forward to hearing from you soon.  Take good care.

NJ - it sounds like you are feeling excited about the upcoming school year.  Good for you.  I hope it proves to be a wonderful year, good thoughts for just that.  Hope those kitties are doing well.  Blessings to you as you start the school year.

Meallan - beautiful pictures as always.  Enjoy your weekend.  Look forward to the new pics. ahead.

Harlene - blessings to you too.

Hereslucy - I agree, no one will take away our joy.  We are stronger than that.  I can't believe a post had to be removed from this thread.  Peace to you, too.

Helen47 - welcome to you as a reader, even if you choose not to post.  We welcome everyone here that wants to hear positive thoughts.

Having a slow, rainy day here.  We need it, so it is a welcomed change.  Looking toward a slow, quiet weekend.

Prayers for you all.  God bless!!

Ruby - I'm trying to find where I can quote but can't find it.  Anyway, the suggestions was that she uses less beans, (she's vegetarian) and less fiber, and she doesn't agree with that, she won't go back to white bread and white everything else.  She's out for a second  opinion.  And reading on line too.  Told she can feed on demand. We had been doing that.
