Hello my friends! It's late because we were gone tonight to celebrate my husband's brother's wife's birthday, all got together at a restaurant of her choice, and it was buffet of German foods etc. very good. Not far from my husband's sister and husband's lake home, and after we ate they invited us to come there for a nice pontoon ride all over the lake!! The weather couldn't have been more perfect!! It was wonderful being out there, seeing a baby loon, the Mother Loon talking to it, and going to it, etc. Saw a Pelican too. Then we said our night prayers, after we got home, and here I am. The end of a glorious day the Lord made!
If you feel the need to get even, try getting even with those that have helped you.
Lord, free me from any thoughts of revenge because this only shuts the door
to my own happiness.

M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
In God's strength we can conquer life. Our conquering power is the
grace of God. There can be no complete failure with God. When we want
to make the best of life, then we can live as near as possible to God,
the master and giver of all life. Our reward for depending on God's
strength can be sure. Sometimes the reward can be renewed power to face
life, sometimes wrong thinking overcome, sometimes people brought to a
new way of living. Whatever success comes will not be our own doing, but
largely the working out of the grace of God.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that I may try to rely more fully on the grace of God. I pray
that I may live a victorious life.
Push Back
When life pushes you down, push back! That's what you're here for. You're capable, you're creative, you're full of life and energy. You have what it takes to move yourself forward around any obstacle. Don't let anything stop you.
Take strength from meeting the challenges, and move ahead.The struggles you face are just what you need to fulfill your potential for greatness.
Think back over the past year. Consider the ways in which you've grown, the things you've learned, your accomplishments. Most of these probably came from overcoming some challenge or adversity which initially stood in your way.
A year from now, when you look back at today, you'll see that the problem you're so concerned with right now, was another valuable lesson waiting to be learned.

On passing through Cracow, Rev. Father Sopocko paid me a short visit today. I had wanted to see him, and God fulfilled my desire. This priest is a great soul, entirely filled with God. My joy was very great, and I thanked God for this great grace, because it was for the greater glory of God that I wanted to see him. (1238)
My Jesus, penetrate me through and through so that I might be able to reflect You in my whole life. Divinize me so that my deeds may have supernatural value. Grant that I may have love, compassion, and mercy for every soul without exception. O my Jesus, each of Your saints reflects one of Your virtues; I desire to reflect Your compassionate heart, full of mercy; I want to glorify it. Let Your mercy, O Jesus, be impressed upon my heart and soul like a seal, and this will be my badge in this and the future life. Glorifying Your mercy is the exclusive task of my life. (1242)

June 23 - Jesus Calling
Let My Love stream through you, washing away fear and distrust. A trusting response includes Me in your thoughts as you consider strategies to deal with a situation. My continual Presence is a promise, guaranteeing that you never have to face anything alone. My children teethe on the truth that I am always with them, yet they stumble around in a stupor, unaware of My loving Presence all around them. How that grieves Me!
When you walk through a day in trusting dependence on Me, My aching heart is soothed. Gently bring your attention back to Me whenever it wanders away. I look for persistence—rather than perfection—in your walk with Me.
But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.
