DS and DILove gave our older GS the nicest HS graduation party this evening.

They held it at a business were there were 10 plywood stalls and you threw an ax at a bull's eye!  They had light snacks or you could bring in your own food!

We had barbecue, brisket, mac and cheese, and other items.

The music was surprising!  Brett Michaels and Guns and Roses!  The teens were humming and singing to the music!

Re: Cute HS Graduation Party!

Congratulations to your grandson. Those axe throwing places have really gotten popular over the last couple of years but it wouldn't be something that would interest me. I'm sure the kids and younger crowd loved it

Sounds like the party was a big success!  Smiley Happy Congratulations to your grandson!

My own son told me about a place that he went to....this had to be around 5 or 6 years ago (before Covid) where they went to throw axes while at a bar....Yikes! I thought it sounded a bit crazy!!

I can't imagine having a few drinks while thowing axes.  It sounded dangerous to me but everyone  had a great time.

They would be a cute place for HS or college date, kind of like miniture golf for a change.

Wow!    Times have really changed.   Mine were more "formal affairs" where you would show off your new gold watch...and compare notes about which college you will be attending...

I think I went to a keg party. That was over 50 years ago.
