Re: *Coping* - How are U Coping?

Considering what I've been through with my health in 2025, I'm amazed I'm still here, still coping, and still hopeful and happy. I try to focus on the good things in my life instead of the bad things going on around me and in our world. It's not always easy though.

Best Wishes to All in the New Year!

FRUSTRATED!!!!

Yesterday, I went to my USUAL Walmart in an adjoining town.    The parking lot was filled with BIG construction equipment....bulldozers, cranes, dump trucks, etc.

I don't have any idea if they were tearing it down, remodeling, or fixing a water leak.    There was a whole line of cars trying to make U-turns on the street.      di

Re: *Coping* - How are U Coping?

Coping?  That's loaded right now.

1. My dad died 2 years ago on Dec 21. On the funny side, he gave the gift of covid to 3 of us the last time we saw him. Luckily we all had been vaccinated so they were mild cases.

2. I was recently diagnosed with an eventually terminal brain disease. Thank goodness it is now vs even 10 years ago. Medical advances have done wonderful things. But there is no cure and most of the research funding has been stopped.

3. My heart hurts for our country.

4. Most of all, I stand strong in my faith no matter what. I went to a Mass of Anointing since I was diagnosed. I had been a total basket case but walked away so much calmer and that calm has remained with me.
