Hey its OK to have an observation.  If it bugs you that much, why don't you ask her why she does it.  But honestly, I don't think you will do that as you already labeled her as dirty.

There are alot of things that occur which I don't like, find offensive or that just plain "bugs me".  If such doesn't cause me harm or distress I have learned to ignore or I'd make myself crazy.

A co-worker at my job refuses to dry her hands in the ladies room with the hot air dryer.  When she walks back to her desk past me she dries her hands in her back side - wearing either slacks, dresses, jackets or whatever.  She thinks no one sees her but I think this is gross and have to look at this day after day.

Ahhhh...why are you staring at her butt? Day after day?

People who say just ignore it and do your work probably have never worked in an office environment, particularly an open office.  Some things just can't be ignored. The sights, smells and sounds can really irritate.

I understand and appreciate the OP's position.

I've worked in an open office environment for over 40 years. At some jobs we were very close together. So someone washed their hands and wouldn't use one of those hot air blowers which create more germs. This can't be ignored?

Between the baking cookies thread and this one, It just boggles the mind. They both made me laugh though!

Here's one:  A co worker who did have an office revealed that instead of going to the men's room to brush his teeth, he would brush them at his desk and spit into the waste can.

The poor cleaning people who had to empty the trash can.

And his office was not far from the men's room either.

It could be much worse, OP.

This is a true story.  My first job I worked in an office where I had to walk by other employees' open cubicles to get to mine.  I was usually the second one in the office; the first one there was another employee who liked to use those early morning moments to take off his shoes and socks, put his foot on his desk, and clip his toenails.  Anyone want to eat home baked goods from him?

@Hondagirl  you should mind your own business! For goodness sakes! ....that’s so silly to get upset or bothered by that. Don’t you have more important things to be concerned about at your job?

Buy a roll of paper towels and put them in the bathroom. I bought soap and kept the bathroom where I worked supplied with it for five years. No one was using the soap that the school supplied in the dispenser because it was so harsh it took the top layer of your skin off your hands.

Hondagirl, if this is a problem for you then you have way too much time on your hands.  You should mind you own business and do your work.  Do you do something that bothers her?  Probably, based on the tone of your post.
