Cleaning system for flooring...?

I have 'LVP'  flooring in most of my house - light grey, seems like it shows a lot of dirt. In the past, I've used the 'Swiffer Wet Jet'  - ehhh....Do you have any different recommendation for a quick mop type way to clean  floors?

I have the exact same flooring and color. I also used the swiffer wet jet. I have switched to the Bona mop that has the refillable dispenser attached. It came with  a reusable , washable terry cloth pad. I use the swiffer power mop dry pads on it !  Bona also makes wet mop pads that are disposable. I attach to this mop and use the spray on the mop for extra cleaning with it. I find the Bona doesn't show as much streaking.

I just use plain water with a Campanelli microfiber mop.

I have used a Bissell crosswave for several years but I am not happy with the last one I bought so we're on the look out for something better. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to know!

@sarahpanda   I need to vacuum doggie fur every other day. If I get lazy, I have a swifter on a long handle meant for hardwood floors.

We too need to sweep daily, 12 cats (5 of them are long hairs). I often take the cats in for a lion shave because of the fur but I'm trying not to do it this year, not sure I'm up to it. I usually run the sweeper daily, LOVE our Dyson Omni-Glide, it's a workhorse that I use daily. They have discontinued it......G'rrrrrrr.

We have the LVP, commercial grade grooved grey flooring all over the downstairs.  While I love the coastal, light vibe it gives, I found that after a period of time they got harder to keep clean. No pets, but we do have a lot of traffic in/out of my house so I was wiping up with the swiffer wet, every other day.  After work, the last thing I want to do is clean floors.

A friend of mine encountered the same thing and offered this to me.  A wet microfiber cloth (got two from amazon) that fits the head of the swifter wet mop with Velcro.  She uses ZEP, neutral ph floor cleaner which can be found at Lowe's.  So I took her advice.  Well, you would not believe the dirt that came up with that cloth and cleaner. Floors looked new.  I found the swifter solution on the swifter wet cloth leaves a residue that attracts dirt.  Not this stuff.  When I'm done, I rinse the microfiber cloth in my utility tub and let it soak in a bit of vinegar to clean/disinfect.  Then rinse and let it air dry.

This snowbird trip to FL we searched for a first floor condo to replace the second floor one that became too much for our knees.

Since we both had seen enough vinyl planked flooring in restaurants, we eliminated condos that had installed that type flooring.  Our new condo is tile and just like the old one, easy to clean with a spritz of Dawn and Campanelli's detachable microfiber floor attachment.

At home in the kitchen and great room which gets heavy traffic, we had a high grade vinyl floor installed in 1996 ( not planking ).  This morning I used a spritz of 409 / large square and the Campanelli microfiber attachment.  Rinsed the microfiber after each square was done.

The floor simply gleams.  I am 80 and have tried many different techniques....wish I had this years ago for cleaning.

@sarahpanda  I have used my Bissell Steam cleaner for years. It only uses distilled water and removable washable terry pads. So not only does it clean, but it disinfects surfaces without chemicals. Iv'e always been happy with Bissell products.

@We rescue cats I have been considering purchasing one of these after watching a YouTube video on it. The reviewer, who cleans tile for a living, said the worst extractor is better than the best mop. Why don't you like your last one?
