Is it just me, I honestly feel like we're just getting over Christmas, I don't remember Valentine's Day Easter spring summer, it's all a blur, normally I love Christmas in July but somehow it doesn't feel right this time, for me that is. At least seeing Rick is cheerful enough. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy it this year.

I understand. It seems that we went from Valentines Day to right now. Everyone has been consumed with all the effects of the virus upending our lives, then the protests, and now a surge. It has all just run together, and for me, flown by faster than time seems to already.

I usually love CIJ, but honestly, I couldn't care less tonight.

This will be the highlighted topic of the month.  For many it's an anticipated event, and then there are those that state they won't watch it for the entire month.  It's a nice distraction.

Re: Christmas in July

I am loving this!!! This is an unofficial holiday for me.😁 I even decorated my family room for the occasion. The nutcracker I purchased here a few years ago, is guarding the fireplace. Ofcourse the pictures, and lit gingerbread houses are Valerie's😊

ETA: I forgot to include pictures

@KACEE1115  It all seems like a blur doesn't it?  April and May lasted forever.  I don't even remember last Christmas, seems like 2 years ago.  I'm happy to have some new merchandise and as you say Rick is as enthusiastic and entertaining as ever lol.  Did you see the Rick youtube video a fellow poster suggested, showing the other sides of QVC hosts?  Wow it was a tear jerker talking about his family.

Christmas in July reminds be to sort through past Christmas decorations, pack up the tired or no longer wanted things for Goodwill. And think about what I may want for this coming holiday decorations. (I already have the Halloween decorations ready to donate.)

[I always believe "We Need a Little Christmas." And we could always use a little music, and use a little laughter. Sorry but I can't help thinking of the genius of Jerry Herman. The man wrote some of the most poignant and hauntingly beautiful melodies then juxtaposed it with exuberant snappy tunes.]

@Mominohio  We're all so affected by everything lately, there is no more normal.  I'm so sick of cooking that Christmas in July in June has been a break.  Are you going to check out Valerie's things that always seems to be a good segway at least  for me. .

@SandySparkles, I'm loving it, too! I even have two small 3ft. trees up now (no ornaments), just the white lights at night to bring on a little happy!

Agreed. Enjoy if you like them.

Personally, I don't watch any Christmas shows - ever.  I find them beyond boring.  Plus, I don't decorate anymore.
