Thankfully, all is well.

I had just stepped out of the elevator and returned to the apartment. Already not a fan of, elevators since I was stuck in the Empire State Building  elevator, when I was 7 months pregnant,  in 1986!

I was just happy I wasn't in there when that happened! 😱

I stayed home from work yesterday so, I was busy telling my husband about my morning adventures. I went out for bagels.

 As I was chatting away,  he jumped up from his chair and asked me if I felt that? I think I actually didn't until

he pointed to our tree, which was recovering from the quake.

At that point,  I got dizzy...but I am a dizzy dame anyway! 😜

All is well, how about @Coquille and @grandma r ? Did you feel it?

@KBEANS Yes we felt it. I was on my bed, putting socks on and at first , I thought my meds weren't working and my palpitations were getting really bad. Then, everything in the room, starting shaking. I felt like I was on a Disney ride. We did feel, one after shock but strictly minimal. Glad everyone is ok. My daughter was in the street, in front of her bldg downtown and felt nothing. Amazing. When she walked in her bldg, they were all talking about it. I was amazed because several people in the street didn't feel it. People outside, at Yankee Stadium didnt feel but the peopke inside did. Really strange.

We're all dizzy dames here, so join the club😄

Edited: Have the news on and they just said that, Jersey just felt an aftershock. I didn't think that was possible, at this point. Oh well.

GH Spoilers: Finn Leaves Port Charles For A Much Needed Reset After Gregory’s Death

Finn leaves Port Charles after Gregory dies

It’s inevitable. Unfortunately, Gregory Chase faces a losing battle with ALS. It’s a disease without a cure and time isn’t on his side. Gregory’s most important wish is to see his son Chase, and his fiancé Brook Lynn tie the knot.

Although it’s unlikely, many GH fans hold out hope for a miracle. Gregory is a beloved character and the audience doesn’t want to see him go. Sadly, the character and actor’s departure is inevitable after an ALS diagnosis. According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Gregory’s time is coming to an end.

Finn Leaves Port Charles After Gregory’s Death

However, GH comings and goings rumors suggest that he isn’t the only one making an exit. Apparently, GH star Michael Easton who plays Hamilton Finn, shared some questionable posts on his new Instagram account. The account is new, so it could just be that Easton wanted to build content on the page. But General Hospital rumors speculate that there’s a deeper meaning behind this recent posts...

@Coquille   @KBEANS    we've stated how we feel about the charater of Gregory Chase so it will come as no surprise when I say if this happens I'm okay with this.

@Tique  Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Have I made my point. If I haven't 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Neither Anna nor Laura make my list of favorites which has been true for quite some time. As many negative descriptors as I could use for both ladies I didn't think "hypocrite" would be one of them. 👎🏾

@Coquille  @KBEANS   I hope you will join me in congratulating Maurice Benard for using common sense and not submitting a reel for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series. I've said it before and will say it again: His Emmy winning days ended with the demise of Mike Corbin/the masterful acting skills of Max Gail.

@Tique  I want to talk about yesterday's episode.

You can image who I am going to reference...yes Sunny 🌞

Did you hear him when he was speaking to Brick?

Once again, he botches another disease name.

He refered to Stone having Eights instead of aids. I ran it back twice and he says Eights.  What an idiot.

Do you remember,  I pointed out that when speaking of Mike's Alzheimer's he called it Old Timers? You went and replayed it and agreed. 😂

I guess that's the Mo method actor way! This guy is such a DIVA. I can picture how he must act on the set.

I imagine him just running the lines and improvising as he goes along, and it shows!

He sickens me with his umms, aaah's and those long pauses, probably trying to remember the lines.

I wish he would take a hike!

I didn't see your post below until after I wrote this. Yes, Kudo's for not throwing his hat in the race.

Maybe there's a podcast award he's running in instead? 😝

@Tique  Hypocrite, yes and how about, two faced and double dealing, to describe them!

If I'm watching in real time, I mute, when Laura's on. Anna's time has waaaay past, both the actress and her role. She should go away with Robert and live happily ever after.

@KBEANS  yes, yes, and yes. I definitely remember when you pointed out the major "old timers" faux pas.

From the December 2022 thread:

@KBEANS wrote:

Wow, Did anyone hear this dope Sonny call Alzheimer's...

All Timers or Old Timers? I video taped it and sent it to my son who laughed his head off.  I couldnt believe it. He's really unprepared for a so called " Seasoned Actor". Doesn't anyone have the b alls to call this guy out on his BS? Are they that afraid he'd walk. I'd bet he wouldn't. I don't think he'd get another gig. And to think they bounced Marcus Colomo...

I have given up trying to figure out what is going on with Mr. Benard but it seems he still has a collection of fans who are willing to overlook and make excuses for all of his shortcomings. Look at me; letting out my inner KBEANS. 🙃

As for the "eights" comment I missed it; however Stone has become a recurring topic. Sonny will say "Aids" again. Next time I will be listening instead of filtering out most of the side of his conversation.

@Coquille  all of the above.

GH has no nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actor category but has two in the Outstanding Lead Actress category, Cynthia Watros/Nina and Finola Hughes/Anna.

Same ? for Finola I had last year: What did you do during calendar year 2023 that you think deserves a nomination for anything - let alone the top female category?

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

I don't think Finola did anything worthwhile. she probably thinks she was worthy for the shooting of Charolette and her reaction I guess. 🤦‍♀️

Is Sofia Mattsson up for supporting ? She should be for those scenes with that crazy psychiatrist.

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@KBEANS  it is disappointing that Sofia Mattsson isn't nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress. I can only attribute that to her neglecting to submit a reel.
