Essie is putting out six retro shades from the past decade and a half.  I got a few and redid my nails in the deep red and left ring finger in gold flakes.  Looks like Christmas to me!

Dd is fixing hot appetizers and DH is definitely in the Christmas spirit.

Hi all. Keeping up with holiday family things is about all I have been able to handle, but I wanted to wish everyone a holiday filled with love and laughter and a peaceful new year.

Wishing you folks a very Merry Christmas-- much love and friendship in the new year to come!

The prime rib is in the oven, the mashed potatoes and green beans are made, they just need reheating in the oven and I have to do the au jus gravy.

I am on schedule and dinner is at 3PM!!

DH got me an I Pad!!

Merry Christmas, peeps!

Lovely sunny cold day greeted me with the sound of birds and the neighbors' chickens/rooster.  Wearing comfy new Vionic ugg-type slippers. The bird is being worked on. There is a fire going.

Dinner last night was fun. Appetizers to include fresh fruits and veggies and gourmet cheese and charcuterie platters, and homemade pate. The traditional sides plus ham & turkey. Dessert was a tiramisu buche de noel, cranberry spice bars and a Meyer lemon pie. Yum!

                      Merry Christmas, everyone!

I came here to catch up and found so many lovely posts I would be "hearting" non-stop, so here are my good wishes for all.

To (in no particular order)  @Moonchilde@MyGirlsMom@Noel7@JustJazzmom@dulwich@minkbunny@momtochloe@SHIRAZ

all the best for you and your families.

Yesterday was terrific.  I was invited to see Cavalia's Odysseo in San Francisco.  Partway there, it actually hailed.  Very tiny hailstones, but kind of fun for this part of the world.

The show was absolutely breathtaking.  I always tear up at the beginning of live shows because of the energy and emotion and the connection felt with the performers, in this case both the horses and the people.    And I did again yesterday.   (I always bring tissues!)

I'd seen the original Cavalia show several years ago and highly recommend seeing this if it is presented anywhere near you.

Afterward, dinner at a wonderful Thai restaurant in the Embarcadero Center.  Such a happy day.

@betteb

How could I omit your name!  Please add it to the good wishes of the previous post.

(I didn't want to edit the other because, as we know, all the notifications are resent.)

Happy Saturday everyone!!

I got up at 6:30 to get to Macy's at 7. I used a gift card to get an Amarige fragrance gift set. I then went and bought bagels for  breakfast and went to the supermarket next to the bagel place to replenish items we were low on. I returned the bottles and cans (I always seem to forget the bag before hitting the store).

I came home and had breakfast (no one else was up) and I ordered a case for my I Pad Mini 4. It looks like this:

I just finished my lunch of salad and Balanced Breaks package (cheese and cranberries/nuts) and did the bike for half an hour.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and stay warm and dry.
