@SaveTheTurtles

You might like to know that NC's Holden Beach, an hour north of Myrtle Beach is a loggerhead turtle sanctuary.

We usually get to watch some nests "boil" when there and have watched the little ones go to the water led by the children.

OH! I would love that.  That is so awsome! Thank you so much for telling me about this. If I ever get down that way you KNOW I will visit that.

May I ask what state you are in?

@ECBG  I'm in Wisconsin.  We sometimes get the occasional snapping turtle laying eggs in our backyard as we live on a river and near a lake but that's the extent of it.

HAHA. Yep it's chilly up here. You have a beautiful state. I've been to NC many years ago along with Myrtle Beach once in 2010.

Holden's Beach

About 7 years ago, a turtle managed climbing to a deck 15 steps up and tried to lay eggs there.  I don't know how they got her down, probably carried her!

Re: Calling @Save The Turtles

I remember seeing them too years ago, but not at Holden's. I can't remember what state it was in- somewhere on the east coast. I'll never forget seeing them though. A totally amazing sight!

Thanks for the great pictures @ECBGSmiley Happy
