OMG 🤦♀️
I don't think it's any secret here that I'm pretty conservative about most things, but it's not like QVC was selling p*rn or secks toys. Believe me, SK is far from one of my favorites hosts, but I thought she was calm and respectful in the way she conducted herself with the doctor and the subject matter. QVC is/was selling a product that could be useful for certain people. Even though the area of use may feel awkward for some folks to discuss, that doesn't rule out the need for a certain segment of women. Maybe some women didn't know a product like this was available and now they do. QVC sells a lot of items in the personal health & self care areas; teeth whitening products, hearing amplifiers, exercise equipment, heating pads, shiatsu massager, red light therapy devices, vibration platforms, walkers, skincare devices, bikes, etc.
Why shouldn't this product just fit into that category without thinking it's inappropriate?
Just because QVC sells something, doesn't mean I have to watch and/or buy. I'm in control of that. They can still sell whatever they choose and it doesn't impact me in the least. I don't need to change someone else's behavior in order to maintain control of my own.

theres nothing shocking about the products, however if Shawn or any of the viewers need to to ask the differnce between her labia and her vulva they all need need a nore in depth education that really doesn't need to tale place on air, IMO. The point is maybe the timing was inapporpriate for the product or 50 and fabulous.should be shown later if thats the angle of it....Usually people put on a shpping channel to watch or because its neutal and safe -no sex, politics, controversy etc. to have on in the background -myabe people werem't expectiing that in the middle of jeans and shoes and kids are around etc. I don't think anyone is saying ****** is a bad word but maybe the hour and Mally making faces and acting like an 8 yr old aren't the best way to sell these "important" products that everyone thinks QVC needs to sell. Perhaps management should be shooting for an over 50 timeslot with adults- Mally isn't one of them.....and some of the questions Shawn asked quite honestly seemed more to push the envelope on purpose becasue she can't be THAT uneducated....and she as much as said it saying she was making the men in the control room uncomfortable...Not everything is appropriate for every venue or timeslot...on a shopping channel especially...so people shouldn't be told to get over it ...its QVC for God's sake...buy some orthotic shoes and lube up probbaly wasn't what people were expecting..

@JobGirl LOL!!!!!!! One of the funniest lines I read here in a long time!
If you don't like a presentation, turn it off. I have to do that with the "Dude Wipes" commercial.
ETA: That should be your new quote.

That's fair, @JobGirl - a later time slot and axe Mally.

What exactly is this product that everybody is tiptoeing around? If QVC is selling it, it should be okay to mention it on the forums.
