@JoyFilled Warrior The product was not "pulled"...it SOLD OUT! There IS a need for this type of product, and why should calling the area where it is used by the correct names be considered "wildly inappropriate"?

Hi @vermint
-> IMHO <- I place the Onus on QVC Mgt!!
- that Product, does NOT belong on QVC.
- that Product's Name should have been a "signal" to the QVC Mgt/QVC Buyers "Powers-that-Be" that that Product doesnt belong on QVC, (if, for no other reason, than QVC's usual sale product history)
- the Personalities of the ("usual Cosmetic" Guest) Presenter, & that QVC Employee Presenter were the most inappropriate Presenters to present such an intimate product, even by widely held reputation only! (as much as I like, & appreciate the entertainment value of both personalities).
(of course, I could assume that each of these persons would try to present the product placed in front of them, afterall, it's their Thrive'hood!) Back again, to onus on QVC Mgt
- Can you even imagine the most recently retired, classy Q Employee presenting this product on QVC? "NO!!", imho!
There's soo much inappropriate-ness about this whole scenario, that I can only assume that:
1) QVC Mgt, &/or QVC Buyers were "on vacation," or the sorts, when this Product Selection, *&* Product Presentation were selected!
2) QVC was trying to sell this product based on QVC Customer SHOCK VALUE!
It's not a MEDICAL PROGRAM Business, esp not such a supremely intimate, Personal Product presentation business, even by QVC reputation only, at a minimum!
It doesnt belong on QVC!! on sooo many levels!
To QVC:
- Stick to selling your "$150, $130, ON SALE," "Striped Hoodie" Top items!
QVC & Mgt - You either devolved to, or, You're appearing to be MORE & MORE DESPERATE for Sales,
- QVC, you need to REIN IT IN! imho only
Otherwise, QVC, continue with your attempt at thrive'hood!

I don't tune into a shopping channel to hear this kind of thing or 50-somethings trying to tell me about aging.
I realize this these topics are discussed a lot of places...talk shows, commercials, tv shows, movies, etc. I tolerate those or fast forward.
People in their 50s do experience some aging but really don't have a clue about it yet.
Last year's shows were awful....childish behavior, yelling over each other, fighting for air time, low class tackiness, and some totally unnecessary talk.
And it's all while selling the same old, same old products.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

@vermint wrote:I just watched the entire video, and found NOTHING inappropriate about the conversation. For this product, that terminology was necessary and proper.
Mally was her usual silly, somewhat loud self--I really think they should have just let Shawn and the doctor handle things--but other than that, they did just fine!
@vermint I watched it and found absolutely nothing inappropriate. I thought they did it tastefully and very was informative. This is the 2025 not 1950's where everything was hush hush and never talked about. The product even sold out. The ones thinking this was so bad should of watched when ShopHQ did a show called "After Hours" where they were selling things like this and s x toys.

I think these are topics that need to be discussed with a Dr in the Dr's office, not on a shopping channel.

@JoyFilled Warrior - In the words of Taylor Swift "You need to calm down."
My goodness, such an overblown reaction to a product being sold on a shopping channel. Perhaps you should check your blood pressure as a precautionary measure.
And accusing those not offended by the presentation as "reliant on QVC" and "missing a whole heck-of-alot"? Well, that just gets downright silly. You know nothing about anyone else's self-care.
But good luck to you, too. God bless ya! (Don't clutch those pearls so hard that you break the strand.) ![]()
