Hi, @bebe777! 

I saw these posts in looking for someone else, and thought you might want to know -- if we don't use the default text size and type and color, the "@ plus nickname" notifications don't show up in blue.

Just as in the ones @Puddles referenced, and the one I'm posting, the name notifications are valid but don't appear in the blue color.

(I wanted to add...  @Puddles, I saw several of your posts and I'm not 100% sure what's needed but if I can help you in assisting @Firefly3, let me know.  I realize the new format here can be pretty strange and frustrating at times.)

@dooBdoo, Thank you, as always, for sharing this information because I was mystified as to why Puddle's notifications were going through when they were in black. 

I use the notification system for a lot of different reasons, and it can be fussy sometimes, so I've done my best to get a handle on it.

Update:  I'm on my second full day of medication and so far have had very little relief from my ear infection.  I still have ear pain, swelling, and my ear feels really full and I can't hear out of the right ear which feels weird.  I'm to take the medication (ear drops) for 7 days so hopefully it will soon begin to take effect.  I'm taking it easy as the doctor prescribed and getting lots of rest.  I miss you all and hope you have a peaceful sleep. 

 

Now, I'm off to bed.  Sweet dreams.
