I've been blessed in that I don't (yet) have too much trouble getting a good night's sleep, but I generally keep to a regular routine. Once in a while, I can't "turn my mind off," and I'll toss and turn for hours staring at the clock as if that's going to help. I usually feel rejuvenated in the morning...how about you?

I sleep really well. The only time I have ever had trouble sleeping was from about age 40-43, when life was not going so well.

I want to sleep and I do.

That's so funny and so true!
I don't have a problem getting to sleep. I was having a problem staying asleep for a while, but that seems to have gotten better.
I try not to worry about sleep because it just makes it worse. LOL I know what will upset my usual sleep pattern - if I exercise too late in the day, having caffeine past my morning coffee, or the bedroom being too hot/stuffy.
Even when I wake up to go to the bathroom a couple times during the night, I usually go right back to sleep.

Sleep is a real problem for me.I can fall asleep easily because I am so tired but I just can't stay asleep.I awaken from any sound and then I am not able to get back to sleep for a few hours...geesh.I think this started around menopause.

During my working years and the years of turmoil with DH before we separated, I rarely slept more than 3 hours per night! I've been known to take an over-the-counter sleep aid in order to get 5 hours of sleep per night.
I don't seem to NEED any more sleep than that, as I function very well the next day on just 3 to 5 hours of sleep!
