ButterMaid Bakery is coming to QVC this week. If you love a good kolache, they make the best! My grandmother used to make many,many of these nut rolls and poppy seed rolls from scratch every holiday season! I was never able to master it. Some of the Polish bakeries in my home town also made good ones. "Kolache" in Texas is an entirely different thing, so I went online last year and found Buttermaid  Bakery. I ordered 3 nut rolls and they taste just like my grandmothers! Incidentally, I warm a slice or two and that put a little schmear  of butter/margarine...I highly recommend them...they are packed well and freeze well!

I was on their website and was going to order for the holidays. Happy to hear they are coming to QVC. I'll be sure to watch!

Their butter braids are out of this world. I bought some from a co-worker who was selling them for a fund raiser. DEEE-LISHUS!

Wednesday between 4-6pm per their email to me. They will announce the specific time on the bakery FB page at 3:00. The segment will be 6-8  minutes and will feature their original walnut nut roll and apricot. I have had the walnut....delish!!!
