Have you tried any of the Stouffers frozen dishes?  If you like stuffed peppers they're good.

Spaghetti & meatballs are pretty good if you eat carbs. Their meatloaf and salisbury steak aren't bad either.

We have sales at our local grocery store periodically for Stouffers 4 for $10, $2.50 each which is reasonable.

Their stuffed peppers are terrific!!!

I like Stouffers Veggie lasagna. They have meat as well and you'd have plenty of leftovers. I may have you confused with someone else but could your grandson cook something easy for you?

@Luvsmyfam

Ok let us know if you try them!  I was thinking too that if it's hard getting back to the store maybe have food delivery?  We have a plan at our local King Soopers (Kroger) that gives you an either 7 day or 30 day free trial for home delivery.

May be just the thing for you during this temporary situation.

Re: Bought a few things

[ Edited ]

@rockygems123If I am going to eat a frozen dinner, it is always Stouffers.  I know they are higher in the calories and bad stuff but that is what makes them taste so good.  I rarely eat a frozen TV type dinner so it doesn't bother ne ti eat one higher in calories,  fat, etc.

Since @Luvsmyfam  is eating frozen dinners now due to her broken wrist so may as well go for the good tasting Stouffers.  She is eating this way for a short time due to her broken wrist.

I love Stouffers Mac and Cheese, Tune Noodle Casserole, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Stuffed Green Peppers,  Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Ziti, Lasagna and on and on.  Making me hungry

When I was still working and planning on not going out for lunch I would eat a Lean Cusine Tuna Noodle Casserole when I really wanted the Stouffer one.   I would sneak a Stouffer one in occasionally.  Sooo Good.

It sounds like I am a bad eater, but I do that rarely.  Tonight we are having Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin with all the fat trimmed off before cooking with carrots, potatoes, Fordhook Lima Bean and not sure what else DH added, but it sure smells good.

@Luvsmyfam   I am glad you found some things to eat.

You have to be patient and just do what you are able.

You're right!!! I totally forgot about their veggie lasagna. I haven't had that in ages. Another GREAT frozen veggie lasagna I used to get years ago was from the Schwanns delivery company. Anyone remember them?
