Oh my gosh, it's wonderful what you achieved! You should be incredibly proud of yourself because it's one of the most difficult things to do in life. On average, people are always trying to lose weight. You had the stamina, courage, and determination to achieve such an incredible goal in life. You cared enough about yourself and the body that God gave you to make yourself feel better. God bless you and I know I don't know you, but, I'm proud of you! I bet you look fantastic! You should treat yourself to something great for such a great accomplishment.

That's wonderful! You should feel proud. But it's often hard to get your mind to realize that you are no longer heavy. It really took commitment and strength and you did it!
After I retired about 6 years ago, I began gaining weight. I was very trim at about 114 and size 4. I knew I wasn't heavy but I never realized I was petite and small. I guess I had body dysmorphia - where you look at yourself in the mirror and you don't see how you really are! Now that I am heavier, I realize that I really was thin at the time.
When you have been heavy most of your life, it is just something that is part of you and now that you're not, it's hard to - I guess you could say "flip the switch". Over time, your mind and your body will reach a truce and an agreement!
Fantastic! Well done! This is an a wonderful achievement and you should feel very proud!

As one comedian use to say, "I'm not fat, I'm fluffy."

look in the mirror, smile, and say hello to yourself now, not you from several years ago. Your posts always convey a strong person, self assured and confident. Think of those qualities when you look in the mirror, hopefully you will like what you see. 😊
@Blondie59 Thank you so very much there are others who would differ with you. They constant criticize my spelling and sentence structure

I would loose weight and gain it backAfter my dad died in 2017 I had time for myself and I went to weight watchers I lost about 80 lbs. This morning I weighed 127.4 which at 5 feet tall is great for a 71 year old woman. I have a very healthy diet and watch what I eat so the thing is why do I feel so fat.I know its a mental thing I look in the mirror and see a thin woman but mentally I am still that 2x girl..Thank you all for listening Please refrain from making negative comments this really bothers me. I would rahter share with strangers than close friendsBe thankful that you have succeed in a goal that you had for probably many years.Seems like in our head stays many negative memories even from when we were young . Look at yourself like you are where you always wanted to be many years ago.The most important thing is as we get older that we are in good health and spirit don't let your past memories ruin your "Happy Feelings"

Personally I'd take the comments with the good intentions that come with them. I had someone ask if I was a specific religion once, I said no, he said oh ok I was going to wish you a happy holiday and my response was I'll take whatever well wishes you'd like to give me.

@pigletsmom2 , exactly. I have a good friend who is a Witness. They were having some difficult times and I said I would pray for them....then caught myself since I am not a Witness and said is that ok? And she said yes please...we will happily accept your prayers.
