I have been over weight most of my adult life. At one point I was over 200 lbs and at 5 feet tall that is a lot. I would loose weight and gain it back
After my dad died in 2017 I had time for myself and I went to weight watchers I lost about 80 lbs.
This morning I weighed 127.4 which at 5 feet tall is great for a 71 year old woman. I have a very healthy diet and watch what I eat so the thing is why do I feel so fat.
I know its a mental thing I look in the mirror and see a thin woman but mentally I am still that 2x girl.

.
Thank you all for listening Please refrain from making negative comments this really bothers me. I would rahter share with strangers than close friends

@I am still oxox  I think when you look in the mirror you should see a woman who accomplished a very difficult thing.  80lbs. is quite a feat.  But I know there are some psychological things we don't understand and your feeling is probably one of them.

Wow, what a great accomplishment!  Sometimes it is hard to look at ourselves without seeing the person we used to be.  Feeling good and knowing you are taking care of yourself is what is important.

look in the mirror, smile, and say hello to yourself now, not you from several years ago.  Your posts always convey a strong person, self assured and confident.  Think of those qualities when you look in the mirror, hopefully you will like what you see.  😊

Congratulations on your weight loss I myself know how hard it is. At one time I was 187 pounds which was not good for my height.  I lost a lot of weight and I am very happy where I'm at.  Just like you when I look in a mirror I see someone who is still heavy.   A long time ago I read an article that said once you are heavy you will always see yourself as heavy.  So when I look in the mirror I always remember that.
