The physician was wonderful.  My vital signs were excellent and I actually gained one pound (yea).  There was no swelling, blistering or anything like that and the doctor said that I caught it really early and that the infection was localized.  I received a shot of Rocephin and a prescription for Keflex.  She thinks 5 days of 500mg of Keflex 4 times a day should do the trick and I am seeing improvement.

To any moderators reading this - I'm talking about my reaction to a vaccine, not trying to initiate any kind of political debates about vaccines or pandemics.

@Mz iMac   When the COVID vaccine first became available in 2021, I expected my arm to get sore or maybe a little red for the first shot.  My skin around the injection site overreacted with every single iteration of COVID vaccine that I received.  Every single one.  My skin blistered, burned and itched all at the same time.  The only topical treatment that allowed me to sleep and function for 3 weeks after each injection was Calamine Lotion.  I had bottles of Calamine lotion upstairs, downstairs in medicine cabinets, on the kitchen table.  I should have bought stock in it, lol.

@gloriajean  I'm doing well GloriaJean.  These weird things happen sometimes and I am abundantly blessed that it was caught early and treatable at home.
