Birdmama,as a friend and a ex- nurse I'm going to be honest with you. 
First off, a brace will probably  not do you any harm. More patients see Drs for back problems than any other reason. That. Being said. If your back inhibits you doing normal things you should see a Dr.even if it doesn't you might want a XRay or MRI to rule out any problem,esp. if you have discomfort/pain in your back or groin area,or pain down your leg.
Just:saying be careful,back pain can change real fast,esp. if you have bone rubbing in bone. 
Take care of your back....believe me, I know.

not much here.beautiful day here, windows open and fans in windows.

going to wait till after 22nd sept for any surg on my foot. dh blew out his knee last week, first appoint he could get for his knee was 22nd, it is his driving foot knee , he has to drive me around becuase of having surg, don't want to tax it anymore than usual. so will wait and see what dh knee doc says and take the cue for my foot surg to get that knuckles taken out of last 2 toes to stop the clawing.

I'm sorry about your husband's knee @viva923   Is he trying to soldier on and go to work?

hey bird mama,

yes he is still working full time. he has to be careful how he steps on knee and make no sudden movement, if he needs to turn, he has to turn his whole body around fully to see something behind him.

just had a one sided yelling fest from neighbor lady. she was giving me some furniture. well it seems i upset her plans on how it is to be delivered. the man bringing the stuff back from where it is coming from, is delivering it to her only and i am to make plans on how to get it to my DD house about 15 miles from my house. she hung up the phone on me,it was more than a hang up but a slam the phone down., so not sure if this furniture will be even brought now, i guess will find out on sunday if this furniture will be here and how we will get it down to my DD house, it had better be done her way or else. I just let her vent, and told her all will work out. We already told the man delivering the furniture for neighbor lady (he lives in between the 2 of us) we would pay for his time and use of his truck (he has a delivery truck

I had an inkling this was going to happen, this neighbor lady is very dominant lady, who has things done her way or else. found out tonight,that things given free has caused a huge rift because she tells everyone what to do and it better be done her way or else.

guess this friendship is done for awhile don't know if the friendship will ever be the same or if it will survive.

posted a long post at summer at the shore in among friends thread, it tell a bit more of the story, but you got the gist of it last night.

dh said let it go see what happens on sunday, if the free stuff comes, we will let the neighbor man know he works for my lady neighbor only and we are not to ask him for help unless she gives the ok.
