                                        I love it.

                          Stored away is a stockpile of fabric and trims.                           I should make time to do some sewing again.

                          Before Covid hit, I was planning to make a red

                        skirt with appliques of three indigenous women

                        on it. I've seen appliques done like this before,

                         with black yarn for the hair, braided with one

                         braid going down the back of the shirt. It is so .

                         cute.

                          The red skirt is worn for the Awareness of

                          Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

                         I was planning to wear it with my new

                         moccasins, to the next powwow.

                          Still waiting for the next powwow to be

                         scheduled. Then, I can whip up a skirt in a few

                         days.

                           If I can get my son to help, I will post a  

                         picture of Toni, wishing everyone a Happy

                         Mothers' Day. She will be wearing a pink

                          dotted Swiss dress in the 50's style.
